Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz is accusing rival Donald Trump of being behind aNational Enquirer story claiming private investigators are looking into allegations that Cruz had at least five extramarital affairs.

"I want to be crystal clear: these attacks are garbage," Cruz wrote on his Facebook page. "For Donald J. Trump to enlist his friends at the National Enquirer and his political henchmen to do his bidding shows you that there is no low Donald won’t go. These smears are completely false, they’re offensive to Heidi and me, they’re offensive to our daughters, and they’re offensive to everyone Donald continues to personally attack. Donald Trump’s consistently disgraceful behavior is beneath the office we are seeking and we are not going to follow."

The U.S. Census Bureau defines the ethnonym Hispanic or Latino to refer to "a person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race" and states that Hispanics or Latinos can be of any race, any ancestry, any ethnicity.

Its not defined as a race here in the US. It's a culture. You can be white hispanic, black hispanic, latin american hispanic, etc... When we do research for NICHD we have to provide a demographics table the describes our sample. NIH (and NICHD) do no consider hispanic to be a race.

It is defined as race in the American English language - there are multiple variations of the definition but a couple of those provide for "hispanic" to definitely be considered a "race". See the dictionary definition I posted, in my earlier post.

I presume you know perfectly well that the woman who did that simply ran an anti-Trump PAC which had no connection with the Cruz campaign. But, since you insist on bringing the matter up ... consider that Melania Trump willingly posed in the nude for the GQ magazine spread ... for the money and the publicity. It's what she did of her own accord. There is no doubt about it. There is no disputing it.

And the best the Donald can respond with is baseless accusations against Ted and Heidi Cruz?
