Hi Keras. Late last night I was thinking about what you wrote in your earlier post. I remember a movie that came out back in 2003 called The Core. Basically it was about the rotation of the Earth's core stopping ,and the heroic efforts of top scientists from the U.S. and Russia to the rescue to jump start it again. I will include a couple of clips from it for your enjoyment if you have not seen it. Anyway,the premise is that if the Earth's core stops or slows, the crust will continue to rotate for a time afterward, but will experience symptoms like birds and whales, and dolphins navigation going haywire, birds falling out of the sky, beachings of whales and dolphins, etc. We have been seeing this phenomenon more frequently lately. I wonder if it is related in some way to the science/or lack there of, put forth in this movie. Here are a few clips from the movie.

Maybe, but such a thing as earths core and crust disassociation isn't prophesied. Hollywood sure has fun nowadays with computer graphics! I see no significance in localized in bird or fish deaths. Just normal occurrences.
In the clip above, talking about how the sun could burn the earth, the actor [nearly] had it right saying: we would be back in the stone age. I say: we would be back to 1800's technology.

The solar winds striking earth carried billions of tons of supercharged electrical particles. The sheer mass of this flare ripped through the magnetic shield that normally protected Earth, bending and displacing the magnetosphere until it collapsed.

At ground level where the force field was more protective, the consequences of this flare were delayed but not avoided. The first to go were the power grids. As the charged particles hit the power lines, the surge of electricity tripped the breakers off line. Inside the power stations themselves, operators worked frantically to get the grids back on line, but their electronic monitors flashed and burnt as the massive overload destroyed all electronic devices in its path.

Perhaps the flare in 1859 was of a similar magnitude, but then there was not anywhere the same amount of electrical equipment around. This time, generators burned out, transformers exploded, radio and television station transmitters flashed and burned. Domestic appliances, anything plugged into the supply grid, were destroyed with a smell of acrid smoke. Vehicle electronics were disabled, making most modern cars useless.

The scene from space would have appeared like a planet dying, as the lights flashed then went out, across the world, as the earth rotated to face the sun.

The city was in ruins. It was like a scene from Beirut in the seventies. Torched and abandoned vehicles were still smoking. Many buildings were burned out, and shops smashed and looted. Armed individuals and groups roamed the streets, making it very difficult for those holed up in their homes to escape to the countryside.

It was a unique event in history. Man had transformed the planet into an industrialized society, with modern communications, transport and conveniences and now, in a span of little more than a week, all that was just history. Electricity, perhaps mans greatest tool, was cancelled on planet earth and along with it mankind’s modern way of life.

My comments:
The Lord will use this means of judgement to destroy His enemies and to bring mankind to a place where everyone must recognize His omnipotence, although not all will give Him due reverence. His enemies, will be that alliance of nations and entities, who – at the moment of their attack against Israel – will be mostly wiped out by this Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath – His Judgement of fire from the sun.

Prophecies describing a coronal mass ejection - Isaiah 30:26-30, Isaiah 66:15-17, Hebrews 10:27, Isaiah 29:5-6, Malachi 4:1, Deuteronomy 32:41-43, Psalms 50:1-6, Psalms 144:5-6.

Prophecies against the attacking nations - Note in Psalms 144:7-8 Rescue me from the power of aliens, whose every word is worthless, every oath is false. The Islamic code of Al Takayya, means they can use any means of deceit against non Muslims. Psalms 83, Zechariah 12:1-9, Isaiah 33:10-12, Zephaniah 2:4-7.....at midday, Gaza will be destroyed.

But the Lord’s righteous people have these promises -

Isaiah 30:26...on that Day, I shall save My people.
Ezekiel 28:25-26 When I execute Judgement on all of Israel’s scornful neighbours, then My people, all the Israelites, gathered from the nations, will live in the Land, undisturbed.
Isaiah 63:4 I resolved on a Day of vengeance; the year for redeeming My own had come.
Isaiah 52:6-12 On that Day, My people will know My Name....Go out, leave Babylon, keep yourselves pure, the Lord will guard and guide you. [back into the Land]

No Jack, we use the Bible to tell us what will happen. Sometimes the secularists guess it correctly.
Isaiah 30:26....On that Day, the sun will shine seven times brighter, like seven days light in one..... Care to offer an explanation for this?

I regard this, like many other passages is scripture, as highly metaphorical.

No. Truth can be conveyed in many forms. Being literal is not always the most effective way. Jesus recognized this in his use of parables. Many of the other authors of scripture recognized this as well.

The adage is: If Bible prophecy can be fulfilled literally, then it will be.
Remember, the prophesies about Jesus' first Advent were literally fulfilled. Ones like Him riding on a donkey.
Not only are the Prophets specific about the Lord using the sun to destroy His enemies, but secular scientists tell us that a big CME striking earth is not a matter of if, but when. Google CME and Richard Fisher, Director NASA Heliophysics,

In no way do I consider myself a prophet. I am just a messenger, as my name means.
The last Prophecy about the end times that we will ever get before it all happens, is Revelation, that plus the Apostles and all the OT prophets, is enough for us to get a good picture of God's plans.

We now know that the initial flash from a CME sent out from the sun, contains a Electro Magnetic Pulse. This powerful hit will destroy all electrical systems and cause at least all armed weapons to explode. Psalms 46:9, Hosea 2:18b, Psalms 76:3
The main mass of plasma will arrive 24 hours later. That is why people have time to get under cover, Isaiah 2:21, Revelation 6:15, we will see the flash and then the sun will be darkened, by this approaching mass and the moon will glow bright red, by either the reflected sun or by a thermite reaction between the hydrogen plasma and the moon dust.

I would call it the Holy Spirit bearing witness sis.We all get revelations sometimes, and sometimes it is the same revelation given to two different people. The Bible says
2 Corinthians 13:1

The last days events will happen exactly as the prophets have said they would. Sadly, people have felt it necessary to alter and add to the prophets Word to what they thought, the Lord should do and He has blinded them to the truth. Isaiah 29:9-12, 2 Thessalonians 2:11
The word 'amazed' in Isaiah 29:9, as translated in the KJV,NIV, etc, is better rendered as 'confused', REB.
The Lord has, therefore, placed a spirit of confusion and misunderstanding on all who choose to believe false teachings. This is why there is so much dissention and disagreement among those who promote their own theories and fanciful notions.
We must clear our minds of anything not clearly stated in the Bible. We should not be in the dark about God's plans for our future.

A farmer has lost 25 tonnes of fish after they were sucked into a sinkhole.

Tens of thousands of fish disappeared underground after the hole opened up in the pond of a farmer in China.

The fish farmer, known as Yang, was helpless as the overnight incident rid his pond of most of its water and tonnes and tonnes of fish.

The incident happened in Baisha Town and led to the loss of more than 10,000 fish.

The farmer said it was as if the fish grew wings and flew away ".

He said: I first noticed that the water levels in my pond had dropped at 4am one morning while I was inspecting my farm.

At 9am, most of the water and all of my fish had gone drained into the sinkhole. "

Mr Yang blamed demolition work at a nearby quarry for costing him his livelihood.

However, there is no proof that the works are responsible for what happened.

I say it's a new phenomenon because as a kid , a teenager and as a young man , I never heard of sink holes and neither had my family and friends until these more recent times.

Briefly, for those I know it isn't a matter of end of the world stuff. The sinkholes they encountered were due to having houses sold to them by unscrupulous Realtors. Realtors who failed to tell them that generations ago that land had been a landfill. Subsequently over the years settling caused the properties to plummet literally.
