Perhaps it would behoove minorities (from all categories, not just racial minorities) to understand that, for the most part, the GOP is not interested in representing them as people. Same with women. The GOP seeks to restrict a woman's medical decisions and is frequently guilty of trying to lay claim to the fact that "some rapes are more legitimate than others". It's the party that says, "keep your legs closed!" and punishes women for getting pregnant by wanting to pull funding from programs that benefit single mothers, like SNAP and W.I.C. It's the same group that doesn't believe in paid maternity leave, because hey, "you chose to get knocked up, too bad, so sad". The GOP likes black people, so long as they sound/dress/act white. It's perfectly acceptable to be a black man in the GOP with a name like Allen, Ben, or Herman, but how many Tyrells are there? How many Tamikas?

It's not having a "black sounding name". It's okay for a black man to listen to jazz, but he's "ghetto" if he listens to Hip Hop. He needs to claim white privilege is a myth. That his fellow black man isn't really held back by racially-motivated discrimination. That Trayvon really did deserve to be gunned down. He can wear a suit, but not baggy jeans and a tank top. He can't "sound" black in his manner of speech.
