That, and the venomous delivery. What was offensive about his remark was that Christmas and Pascha are worldly things, like baseball games. Deeply offensive...
How is that offensive? Christmas and Easter are very worldy. There is nothing scriptural whatsoever about the pagan, man-made feasts of Easter and Christmas
Unless of course one actually bothers to read, for example, the Gospel of Luke. Then, their scripturality is obvious.
It's obvious that Luke clearly did not write about them nor did he write anything that would encourage followers of the Lamb to celebrate these heathen festivals
as a matter of fact, Mark, Matthew nor John ever wrote of the Babylonian festivals called Christmas and Easter. Neither did Paul, Peter, Jude or John or James
You won't find a single follower of Messiah in Scripture attaching his birth or resurrection to the ancient sun worshipping festivals of Easter & Christmas

Christmas and Easter have nothing to do with Babylonian religion, and are not of Babylonian origin. I say this as an expert on Babylonian paganism.
By the way, I do assume/hope you are not accusing us of sun worship.

Easter has absolutely nothing to do with Babylon, ancient or otherwise.if you were an expert, then you would know that they do indeed originate out of ancient Babylon. However, as you consistently deny this truth, one can easily come to 1 of 2 conclusions:
1. You don't know what you think you know /pretend to know about Babylon
2. You know the truth and have rejected it in favor of upholding erroneous traditions and doctrines of men
I didn't accuse anybody of anything. I made a factual statement. If you or anybody else feels like I'm accusing you of sun worship, then maybe you should stop attaching the Messiah of Israel to these ancient Babylonian sun worshipping festivals and pretending that they have any correlation to the Son of God

I think I have asked this before. If, as you keep claiming, the Christian commemoration of the birth and resurrection of Jesus "originate out of ancient Babylon" please provide your evidence. That would be credible, verifiable, historical evidence written at or near the time of the events in question by a participant or direct eyewitness.
You saying something is truthful and factual does not make it so. If you don't have any credible evidence for these accusation I suggest you stop making them. And I know you have no such evidence because it does not exist!
Wikipedia is not a credible source. For all we know, you could have typed that up on thereEaster has absolutely nothing to do with Babylon, ancient or otherwise.
