Can you guys just not? Or if you absolutely have to, do it somewhere else? This thread was somewhat enjoyable up until it became a string of endless and pointless one-liners. Yeesh.

Fair enough.

Getting back on topic, It does seem somewhat confusing to call Hillary "extremely honest" even with the qualifier "(compared to other politicians)." Any praise of Hillary is inevitably going to cause that disturbing forehead vein bulge on the local Conservatives...

It would've been clearer to say that she is "more honest than other politicians..." which puts more emphasis on how low the bar has been set.

Out of curiosity ... which other well-known modern politicians do you believe are more dishonest than Hillary?

Trump tops my list -- he's made a litany of promises that he doesn't even have the ability to keep, which makes his desire (or lack thereof) irrelevant... He's either a liar or an imbecile, and the former seems more likely.

Chris Christie is no saint, either, but, as a New Jerseyan, I already knew enough about his character to not be surprised.

Ben Carson's first and last true statement was when he admitted his campaign was going nowhere, so he's no longer relevant...

Boehner's another one I would trust as far as I would throw... at least the Conservatives would agree with me on that one, albeit for different reasons...

Two thirds of Americans think Hillary Clinton is dishonest, which means we trust her about as much as Donald Trump. Yet PolitiFact has called 51% of her claims at least "mostly true" and 77% at least "half-true." That's a higher percentage than any other politician I can find, including every other Presidential candidate:

Donald Trump: 7% at least mostly true, 21% at least half true
Marco Rubio: 35% at least mostly true, 57% at least half true
Ted Cruz: 21% at least mostly true, 33% at least half true
Ben Carson: 4% at least mostly true, 15% at least half true
John Kasich: 52% at least mostly true, 68% at least half true
Bernie Sanders: 47% at least mostly true, 68% at least half true

Can we stop calling her a serial liar now? Maybe she contradicts her private opinions for political gain (for instance, when she "flip-flopped" on gay marriage and the TPP), or maybe she's just changed her mind a few times, but when it comes to matters of fact, she's evidently remarkably truthful for a politician.
People who have worked with her say she's pathological.

Hillary is about as honest as used-car salesman: she'll tell you what you want to hear and then rip you off. At this point I can't believe anyone can take her seriously.

A used-car salesman is still a step up from a politician.

All politicians lie and obviously, some lie more and more skillfully than others.

As a general observation, Hillary strikes me as someone not very trustworthy, but that is my personal observation.

I have to compliment Scott Pelly for not laughing in Hillary's face as she told him that she has always tried to tell the truth in an interview. I probably would have fallen off my chair because I was laughing so hard.

Y'know, I'm not a major Hillary supporter (voted for Bernie, and I still hope he wins the nomination), but whenever I read these "Hillary is dishonest" screeds, the thing I notice is they're long on accusations and short on actual facts to back them up.

This goes back a long way. They tried to investigate Whitewater, all they came away with is a perjury rap on Bill because he lied about his sex life. They've held endless investigations into Benghazi and came away with nothing. They're currently trying to investigate Hillary's email server, and again, they're coming away with nothing.

Note the pattern?

Look, if you want to criticize Hillary, do it with facts. Back up your accusations, show your work. If you keep claiming that she's a criminal, show me the crime she's guilty of! Don't just say it, PROVE IT!!!!!

That's how it works. Innocent until proven guilty, not until accused.

-- A2SG, or continue the way you're going, and be treated the same as people who rail on about faked moon landings, the illuminati taking over the world, and Obama's fake birth certificate.....

Well, that's the GOP for you... they'll spend every last cent of your money to stop Hillary... one way or another.

I've known a lot of honest used car salesmen. Clinton is not only a pathological liar, she's a downright evil person.

Asking a liberal to identify the truth is like asking a blind man to identify a Rembrandt.

That one's easy, no matter what your views on politics are.

They tried to investigate Whitewater, all they came away with is a perjury rap on Bill because he lied about his sex life.
That's a lie, of course. The Starr report documented 11 impeachable felonies. The House picked two which were undeniable; perjury and obstruction of justice. Every single Democrat senator and 11 Republicans violated their oaths to defend the Constitution and declared Bill not guilty. He later admitted his guilt to avoid criminal prosecution and lost his law license for 5 years. There was an open and shut case against Hillary for the same crimes, but the Clinton crime organization avoided prosecution for it. Remember the Rose Law Firm billing records that Hillary hid for 5 years? YOU would have gone to prison for obstruction of justice for that felony alone.

The lack of prosecution proves the government is corrupt. It didn't in any way vindicate the Clintons.

They've held endless investigations into Benghazi and came away with nothing.
With the current investigation being the lone exception, Democrats managed to derail all investigations. They have tried like mad in this one, but Trey Gowdy isn't backing down. No other investigation had the emails. How can you conclude an investigation without evidence? It only goes to show the corruption of the Democrats and the spinelessness of Republicans in Washington.
They're currently trying to investigate Hillary's email server, and again, they're coming away with nothing.
Another lie, of course. Her server was illegal. Having ANY classified information on the unsecured server was a felony. Lying about it was perjury. This time it's different. The Clinton crime machine is broken. They lost their influence, and now they can't even cover up for the money laundering and influence peddling with the Clinton Foundation. People are now getting immunity to testify against Hillary in a criminal investigation. Justice may finally prevail.
Look, if you want to criticize Hillary, do it with facts.
The facts are plain. Chuck Colson went to jail for a year because he had one FBI file. Hillary was caught with 900. Anyone who can't understand that what Hillary did was 900 times worse that what Colson went to prison for should never be allowed near a voting booth.

In other words, he was found not guilty. Period.

He later admitted his guilt to avoid criminal prosecution and lost his law license for 5 years.
Bill Clinton never admitted he was guilty of any crime.
