I think it's obvious that Trump is trying to win the racist vote and that he doesn't want to alienate that segment of the far right. That's why he was saying "I never met the man" instead of repudiating him when asked about Duke and the KKK. I don't know if he personally embraces racism as an actual "True beleiver" or not though. I don't think he has too many principles or cares that much about any issue other than winning and self promotion.

Oh yeah, he should pick honey boo boo's mother, Mama June, for vice president so we can go all out reality TV star and show the world this is 'Merica.

KKK are still Americans. Are you starting a hate group that hates hate groups? Now if someone from the KKK promotes and/or demands a violent act then and only then should someone running for President needs to respond.

But Trump never responds when his supporters beat people up at the rallies. He lets it goes on and doesn't tell them to stop it or let his supporters know that it is not acceptable to beat people up.

Was there any police around to stop it? Again how does that give them any political power?

Given my views? Sanity? That's right, we can't have sanity in the US of A. I'm the kind of person both the Democrats and the Republicans should be trying to sway to their side because I'm a true moderate. I'm too liberal for the GOP (as you feel) and too conservative for the Democrats (as others feel around here). You're all right. I am. I don't believe voting third party is throwing votes to the wind anyway. I've voted third party in the last three presidential elections and I don't regret it because I refuse to compromise my views just to vote for the 'lesser of two evils', as I've heard pretty much everyone claim to do every time they vote. That's not good enough and it never was. More people need to vote third party to make a point and an impact. We need to get rid of this two party foolishness and the GOP obviously needs a complete overhaul, and that does NOT include Donald Trump as their new frontman.

Twenty years ago, I was an active member of the College Republican National Committee, and I had been very much on board with the GOP. However, shortly thereafter, I woke up and realized that I actually didn't agree with people like Mitch McConnell, and I 100% regret voting for Bush Jr. the first time. I refused to do so again. I then gave up my GOP membership. So, I can't vote in primaries anymore. I don't care. I can look at myself in the mirror on this one.

I'm probably more liberal than you are, but I agree. I may be voting third party this year--we'll see what happens at the convention. I also don't regret voting third party, as I decided 12 years ago that I would no longer vote for the "lesser of two evils" and have not regretted it. I will vote my conscience, so third party candidates have allowed me to vote.

Political power is the ability to influence people's behavior. If Drumpf sounds like the white supremacists, and won't disavow them, he allows their beliefs to influence others.
Political power is what those Super PACs that going after Trump has. That's complete nonsense that anyone has to disavow someone else or they will get political power. You need lots of money to have any real power in politics.

"Taylor said he prefers to be called a "white advocate" rather than a white nationalist or white supremacist."
Just like Democrats do with the black voters. Liberals are hypocrites as they do the exact same thing they accuse Republicans of doing.

Democrats accept the support of black supremacists? And it's their fault that Trump needs to sound like and accept the support of white supremacists?

Time to get a stronger prescription.

Obama would. But why people take personal advice from presidents, on what they should believe or how to act, I don't quite understand. Maybe it's just an assumed role for someone who considers themself a 'leader'..? Who knows...

In another words Taylor is only doing what Al Sharpton does for the blacks. Democrats knows if someone like Taylor got 90%+ of white vote for a Republicans like Democrats gets 90%+ of the black votes they wouldn't stand a chance. So they have to make sure that never happens and continue to keep white people divided.

Jared Taylor is a white supremacist, not what he "prefers" to be called, because it sounds less racist. Al Sharpton is a civil rights leader, who has admittedly said some stupid things over the years, but is in no way a black supremacist.

So you are his judge? His enemies call him a white supremacist in spite of the fact he doesn't want to be referred to that. Have you ever thought you are wrong and he really isn't a racist? Why is liberal racist in calling people racist? If a white man can have a superior attitude then why can't a black man? Are you claiming that a white man can be guilty of a sin that a black man can't?
Now both Al Sharpton and Taylor claims they are not supremacist. As far as I know they both could be telling the truth.

When did he do that?

I don't mean intentionally, of course, but haven't you noticed that they're coming out of the woodwork and getting bolder?

Because of Trump, we're discussing the KKK and taking them seriously... something we haven't had to do in a long time.
