The "I Would Like to Thank God For..." Thread

I would like to start a chain thread that goes on and on and on so that we can each day by day thank God for different prayers answered, when God has moved, His blessings simple and complex, or just anything you'd like to thank God for teaching you recently or for what God is going to do in your life and His Church's future.

I'll start out by thanking God for His recently speaking to my wife and showing her what is meant by that Still Small Voice and for, at the same time, healing her physical ailment in which she was suffering. I would also like to thank God for showing me how to be better at knowing how to be more edifying to others and myself over this last year rather than being immediately negative and then regretting it later. This was something that was carrying over from the old man to the regenerate me and I thank God that He is helping me to squash it....

....next person thank God for something and let's keep this going and show God our praise... :bow:

I thank GOD for renewing my love for my husband. I simpy can't get enough of him. Have u ever been close to someone and still miss them like crazy, just so full of love for someone and it's impossibe to quench???????? Is this normal ???????? heck, is it safe???????????????

i'd like to thank god for EVERYTHING!!! more specifically, my cat was sick this weekend and almost died, so i thank god he is ok now. and i thank god for days off from work

I thank God for my job and my health and for delivering me from smoking 4 packs of cigarettes a day...it's been 5 years now and I still don't crave them!

Thank You Lord for given this Saint this great Blessing to share with us.

I would like to Thank My Lord and Savior for the new life He has given me. I was living a life of sin and a slow death. You saved me Lord I'm so greatful for your Love, faithfulness and grace. My life has changed so much and now I live  to serve you Lord.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to your Name, O Most High: To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night.

I thank God for blessing me with the world's greatest husband and two of the most joyous miracles in my life...our children. I thank Him for always listening to the feelings and prayers in my heart and for answering them, but most of all for teaching me that He knows best and will never let me down.

I thank God daily for my family. They are my backbone and my world. I thank Him for giving me a sister who is my absolute best friend.

Thank you God for the beautiful family that you've given me. Thank you for the peace that passes understanding in times like what we are living through. I thank you now for the restoration of our family that I know will happen in your timing. Thank you for multiplying our fish and bread to meet all our needs.

I thank God for everyday that he gives me. For my wonderful hubby , and family. For a wonderful church. Just always being there.

I also want to thank God for saving my grandma before she died.

supplying our every need after my dad passed away. emotional and financially (more than one million dollars...i promise)...and spiritually, and every other way.

providing other ways (personal ways)

being faithful even though i act like a food a lot of times.

I never get tired of the edification of reading about others' thanks to God.  There are so many who don't appreciate God and what He's done and doing for us, that it's great to see people thank Him and how He is moving in our lives.  Please share!
