Riyadh (AFP) - Armed forces from around 20 countries were gathering in northern Saudi Arabia Sunday for "the most important" military manoeuvre ever staged in the region, the official news agency SPA reported.

The "Thunder of the North" exercise involving ground, air, and naval forces sends a "clear message" that Riyadh and its allies "stand united in confronting all challenges and preserving peace and stability in the region", SPA said.

Brigadier Ahmad Asiri, the spokesperson for the Arab Coalition fighting to restore the rule of the internationally recognised government in Yemen, said that 21 countries would be participating in the Northern Thunder drill. "

Saudis 350,000 Syrian invasion force could start World War 3

" Saudi Arabia said 350,000 forces from more than 20 Persian Gulf Arab nations will partake in an exercise called North Thunder, according to Saudi media.

Egypt, Sudan and Pakistan are among the participants in the mission that could spark World War 3.

The drill will take place in the northern part of the country, and has been described as the largest military maneuver in the history of the region, according to Press TV.

It is being seen as preparation for a ground invasion of Syria. "

There is one verse of Bible prophecy that succinctly states what will happen when the nations gather for war:
Ezekiel 7:14 They have blown the trumpet [of war] and made ready, but none go into battle for the wrath of the Lord will fall upon them all.
It is the same disaster as Isaiah 2:12-21 where people will fling away their valuables as worthless and paralleled by many other prophesies detailing the effects of the terrible Day of the Lord's wrath by fire.

On the other hand, it could just be a military exercise. We'll have to wait and see.

Some 20 Arab, Islamic and friendly countries, in addition to the Peninsula Shield Force, are taking part in the exercise.

The video starts by making the case that the beast of Revelation is Islam, and that the harlot is Semiramis/Isis who has her "throne" in Mecca (Mystery Babylon) where she is worshipped (the stone that fell from heaven). It goes on to say that Islamic nations led by Iran will destroy Saudia Arabia, including Mecca/Babylon and set up a caliphate in the middle east which is the revived Ottoman empire (one of the seven heads with a deadly wound).

Although I don't agree with everything in the video, especially the last 30 minutes, it makes a very strong case for the whole Mecca thing. Have you tried watching it on YouTube? I recommend it.

They speculate Mecca is Mystery Babylon. I am sorry you can't watch the video, And I don't feel like watching again to give you more. There is referenced lots of scripture which I found very interesting. One such is is Ezek. 25:13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
Teman and Dedan are in Saudi Arabia according to the map shown in the video.

The Bible has many prophecies about Edom... when you see the words, Idumea, Bozrah and Mt Seir... they all refer to Edom.

In Romans 9:13... Paul quotes the OT regarding Esau [patriarch of Edom] and how God chose Jacob [Israel] over Esau [Edom.]

Edom allied with Babylon in the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple.

When Israelites were in Babylonian captivity, Edom occupied part of Israel.

This is the history behind Psalms 137 [136 Greek.]

" Remember, LORD, what the Edomites did on the day Jerusalem fell.
Tear it down, they cried, tear it down to its foundations! "

The OT conflict between Jacob and Esau... Israel and Edom... carried over into the NT.

King Herod was an Edomite who allied with the Romans and became king of Judea.
Herod then proceeded to murder the Israelite royal heirs. Herod totally tore down
the second temple... even removing the foundation stones... to rebuild Herod's temple.
Herod also tried to murder God's Temple made without hands, Jesus Christ. This is the
history behind the NT conflict between Christ and those who ruled in Herod's temple.

In the OT Israel and Edom were enemies... this carried over to the NT
because the Edomites were incorporated into the Kingdom of Israel

I was not talking about just Edom. Sheba and Dedan are Keturah's grandchildren by Jokshan, her son with Abraham. They settled Arabia, now called Saudi Arabia, the Arabs.

Remember Jethro, the father-in-law of Moses was a Midianite.

I don't know what it is, but whenever I bring up Keturah's children, people want to act like they don't exist. They are Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is not just Edom as people keep trying to make them.They are cousins to the Edomites though. OK now look a this map of Edom.

See, Esau's children settled on the opposite side of the peninsula from Keturah's children. They were all ancient enemies of Israel though.
