I posted this here because I believe we are now experiencing end time events.

The recent historic religious [and very political] meeting in communist Cuba between
the two leaders of the Roman Catholic and Russia Orthodox churches is a red flag.

Is there a connection... either symbolically, mystically or otherwise... between the
recent meeting between the Pope and Patriarch to mend their 1000 year schism as
well as the conflicts in Syria and the Middle East... and the historic schism between
the two main Muslim religions, Sunni and Shia, which has fueled the civil war in Syria
and may propel a larger war in the Middle East and beyond ??

I'm even more disturbed by recent events in Cuba for a different reason. Why is it, after more than five decades of hostility between the U.S. and the Castro regime, is the United States now suddenly (without any change in the Castro regime) moving to normalize relations with Cuba ? I'm afraid the agency of Pope Francis between the U.S. and Cuba is nothing more than political cover and may be a harbinger of something far more "apocalyptic" than a reunification of the RCC and the Orthodox Church.

Don't you find it curious, the United States could invade Panama and imprison Manuel Noriega, invade Grenada and take out the marxist coup leaders, kill Muammar Gaddaffi, imprison Slobodan Milosevic, capture and execute Saddam Hussein and kill Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.. Yet in five decades has not been able to do anything about the Castro regime just 90 miles south of the Florida coast (even after the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991) ?!

Here's something else interesting to consider... Ted Cruz's father is not only Cuban, he was a revolutionary with Castro.

Do you think the answer to this mystery could have anything to do with what the Soviets might have "left behind" in Cuba after they pulled their ICBM's out, at the end of the Cuban Missile Crisis ?! Like some "fissile" material Cuba could use to create a nuclear weapon with ?! Seems like a plausible theory to explain the seeming "impotency" of the United States military to deal with Cuba and the sudden urgency to normalize relations with that country, doesn't it ?!

Is an impending "nuclear war" in Europe or the Middle East, the real reason behind the sudden and urgent need for the U.S. to "mend its' fences" with Cuba ?! Not having a hostile nuclear capable power just 90 miles off your coast in the event of thermo nuclear war elsewhere, would be a great motivating factor for such an unexpected and inexplicable political move, now wouldn't it ?!

In July 2015 Vladimir Putin did threaten to use nuclear weapons against NATO if the West tried to intervene in the Russian backed civil war in the Ukraine. Who knows how close IRAN actually is to getting a nuclear weapon, especially with the influx of hundreds of billions of dollars in new oil revenue and foreign investment allowed under the recent IRAN nuclear deal. And what will Israel's response be when IRAN tests its' first nuclear device ?!

The International Atomic Energy Agency of the U.N. (IAEA) has reported that in the past the IRANIANS have already worked on developing a nuclear device and a deliverable ballistic missile warhead system. Madeleine Albright (Former Secretary of State of the United States,) informed the Council on Foreign Relations, "The time from IRAN test of a nuclear device, to fielding a nuclear ballistic missile system, will be measured in months, not years". (end quote).

How many bombs does a religious fanatic and zealot like the Ayatollah of IRAN need to deliver his people to Paradise and bring about the Destruction of Israel by his Russian ally ?! The answer is ONE aimed straight at Tel Aviv. Doesn't sound good, does it ?!

I believe Putin is covertly behind ISIS.

Interesting that the Syrian "civil war" was ongoing for years.
But Putin chose to get overtly involved with carpet bombing
last September during the muslim horde invasion of Europe.

Putin's carpet-bombing of Syria has increased the number of
muslim refugees. Last I heard, Putin's most recent bombing
in Syria sent tens of thousands more muslim horde across the
border into Turkey... which is just a stepping stone to the EU.

I think Putin... like Gog in Ezekiel 38/39... is using a third world
demographic army to invade, occupy, destabilize, weaken and
destroy EU/NATO. EU/NATO is NOT righteous either which also
dovetails with why God sent Gog in the first place.

I wasn't aware of that political angle. That could be an apocalyptic fulfillment of prophecy as well. The final beast system in the Revelation is described as having two horns (representing kingdoms), that appear like a lamb, but speak as a dragon, (Revelation 13:11).

Notice the characterization of a "lamb" (a biblical symbol of Peace and Sacrifice) is qualified in the aforementioned prophecy. Said to be "like" a lamb, not "as" a lamb. This qualified characterization could have more to do with how these two kingdoms wish to be perceived, than with what they actually represent, (which could even be the polar opposite of what they claim to represent).

The word "dragon" could be associated with Satan's "deception". It also refers to a creature inhabiting desert places "tannin" in Hebrew, which refers to the "jackal". The wailing of a jackal (dragon) in the Old Testament is a harbinger of coming destruction and war, (Micah 1:8).

No two states wish so desperately to be "perceived" by the world as "Peace Makers" and "Willing to Sacrifice for Peace" than does the Vatican and Russia. Question is, "is that what they're really about" ?!

I am absolutely convinced Putin's plan is not to completely annihilate ISIS in Syria or Iraq, but to drive ISIS and the Kurds into TURKEY with the plan of "destabilizing" a NATO ally. He plans the same for Europe, with regard to the Syrian refugee crisis created by Putin that you mentioned. DESTABALIZATION.

I think we're on the same page prophetically speaking. I just can't understand why so many (Christians ?!) can't see what is going on. On Christian forums, criticizing Putin's agenda or that of the Vatican is tantamount to questioning the Gospel of Christ. It's really very, very disturbing and scary.

Recently there were news articles about Kremlin internet propaganda trolls...
and I suspect the Vatican and others have similar internet boiler rooms.

One can identify the Kremlin trolls... they use the same boring propaganda talking points.

The irony is... I hoped Putin would be a hero in God's end-time passion play.
So from the beginning I watched Putin very closely... only to discover he is
a master of deception and dishonor... and many are fooled by him.

Putin is the villain, not the hero, in end-time events... just like Gog is the villain...
but Gog is a necessary villain as God in Ezekiel 38:16 tells us..

" It shall come about in the last days
that I will bring you against My land,
so that the nations may know Me
when I am sanctified through you
before their eyes, O Gog. "

We are definitely no longer in the Post Cold War era. A New Cold War era has already begun. That will naturally escalate into a series of state financed "proxy" wars between Russia-China and the West. We will also probably see direct military "conflicts" between these major powers. NATO is already working feverishly to negotiate a plan with Russia to "de-conflict" on the Syria-Iraq situation.

You got to love military "euphemisms" for death and war. In October 12. 2015, Washington publicly accused Russia of deliberately targeting U.S. military advisers working on the ground in Syria with anti-Assad forces. So negotiations to "de-conflict" means we're trying to make the Russians stop "killing" U.S. soldiers. But nobody dares say, "We're already at war with Russia".

Yeah. To use a World War II analogy, "Remember the Concordat Hitler made with the Vatican in 1933" ?! Same kind of thing, isn't it ?! In fact, the whole WWII analogy mirrors what's happening now. Remember the September 2015 Washington summit, where Pope Francis, Vladimir Putin and the president of China, Xi Jin ping met with Obama ? In that meeting Putin was forgiven for invading the Crimea and supporting a civil war in the Ukraine and was politically rehabilitated. What's the difference between that, and the Munich Agreement in September 1938 that forgave Hitler for annexing the Sudetenland ?! Then in September 1939 Hitler invades Poland, and in September 2015 Vladimir Putin puts Russian troops on the ground in Syria and Iraq. Next Hitler invades France, which I suppose is analogous to what's going to happen to Turkey pretty soon, and because Turkey is a NATO ally, that will mark the official beginning of WWIII.

I guess it's true what King Solomon said, "There's nothing new that happens under the Sun".

Last year a Russian motorcycle group peacefully retraced Stalin's red army invasion of Europe.
This is what Putin is doing... covertly invading Europe with little resistance.
