Wrong. Hawking is talking primarily about the end of life on earth within a thousand years or so. He says humanity will likely survive (on Mars). That agrees 100% with what the Revelation says.

He didn't say all life will end in a thousand years. Also, Revelation says nothing about all life ending in a thousand years.

Actually he said all human life. If all human life dies, and we are the smartest creature, what do think will happen to the rest of earth's species?

And what the Revelation says is the earth will be destroyed by fire, and all humans will die. Then they will be resurrected by God, and those deemed worthy get to go and live on a planet "without any sea." The rest are sent back into "the lake of fire" (which the earth has turned into). Again, nothing about animals but I'm pretty sure they die too.

:doh:I may regret asking, but why do you think we would survive based solely on our (alleged) intelligence, as if that's the only thing that does or could matter? And if we're so intelligent, why would we destroy ourselves?

What translation are you using, cause my bible doesn't say any of that.

The biggest and dumbest animals are always the first to die off (like the dinosaurs) while the smallest and smartest usually survive, and repopulate the earth. But that wont hold true a thousand years from now "when Satan is let lose again" and a nuclear war breaks out. All life on the earth will be wiped out in the 7th mass extinction. (We are now going through the 6th one).

Has the thought ever occurred to you that your personal interpretations of the scriptures and what the scriptures actually state don't necessarily jive?

The Bible says those written in the Lamb's Book of Life will get to go and live on "a new earth without any sea." Sounds like Mars to me.
I highly recommend that you stop with the personal interpretations and perhaps look into how the Church has interpreted those scriptures instead.

I basically compare the Revelation to what has happened, what is happening now, and what scientists are predicting for the future, and I find that everything in the Revelation jives perfectly the facts.

My interpretations also pretty much jive with the teachings of the Orthodox Church. For example I agree 100 % with what the Patriarch of Jerusalem said in 636 AD about Omar and the Muslims. They trampled Jerusalem underfoot and brought desolation for 42 months of years as prophesied. And Omar was the first appearance of the abomination of desolation standing in the holy spot. The exact spot where he stood is now marked by the Dome on the Rock. The 42 months of years can be computed 2 or 3 different ways. Basically, the desolation can be said to start in 636 AD and end at the end of WW I when the Ottoman Empire was defeated. The trampling of Jerusalem underfoot can be said to begin around 687 when construction began on the Dome on the Rock, and ends at the end of WW II when Jews came to be the majority in the Holy Land. Or you say the trampling began in 636 and ended with the end of WW II, then subtract the brief period during the Crusades when no Muslims lived in the Holy Land. Any way you figure it, the 7th head of Satan to conquer Jerusalem trampled it and caused desolation for 42 months of years, exactly as prophesied (assuming 1 day signifies 1 year as in most Bible prophecy).

Also I gave the head honcho over all the Greek Churches in America a copy of the first chapter of my book (A Revelation of Jesus, chapter one), and His Holiness liked it, but made me promise to change the artwork on the cover and delete a symbol he didn't like. (I had included a Masonic symbol basically because the US, the 4th horseman to rule the earth for Jesus, was founded by Masonic Christians. But I quickly removed it as he suggested because I sure don't want anything deemed controversial or offensive by the Church to be in my book.

Hawking agrees with the Bible 100%. First come the 7 last plagues which wipe out all the fish in the sea, and make much of the earth too hot for the survival of life, including human life. And a thousand years from now the earth will indeed be destroyed, either by ourselves or an extra-terrestrial (God). Then we will continue on "a new earth without any sea" (in all probability, Mars, as Hawking says).

Mars? I dunno ........ they say they have evidence of a planet 2.5 times the size of the earth "out there, somewhere." Maybe it will be big enough.......

Nothing, the earth doesn't need people to survive. The planet existed for a long time without people and people have destroyed many species and ecosystems.

Even if you believe in young Earth creation, then most parts of the world survived perfectly fine before people inhabited them.

And what the Revelation says is the earth will be destroyed by fire, and all humans will die. That has nothing to do with what Hawking is talking about. He is talking about the end of human life, not Revelation.

1. That is one example. It hardly equates to "always."
2. All of the dinosaurs didn't die off.
3. Numerous other species that were not dinosaurs did.
4. The dinosaurs were not the "dumbest animals on earth." Fish and insects, for example, are far "dumber."

How can you say that? They both are predicting exactly the same thing, the end of human life on earth, and the subsequent colonization of Mars.

Human life will end on Earth someday. It's a matter of how and when. Saying you hold one view of how it happens has nothing to do with a completely different view of how it will happen.

Wrong. Hawking and I hold pretty much the same view. There is nothing "completely different" about the two views. They completely mesh.

Revelation is about the end of all life done through the will of God.
Hawking believes that human life has a good chance of ending because of human activity.

If the end is anything like the 7 last plagues that are occurring now, it is caused by man, or at least primarily by man. The 7 last plagues are given to the angels to pour out by the 4th living creature, the flying eagle, which represents the US (see dollar bill). The final destruction of the earth (by fire a thousand years from now) is a result of an attack on "the camp of the saints" by Satan-possessed Gog and Magog who are as numerous as the grains of sand in the sea. The Christians naturally fight back, the two sides blow each other up, and its the end of the earth. Some people may have difficulty understanding it, but it is the will of God. He fixes things by establishing the Christians on Mars where we live for eternity.

Where do you get such BS? All of the big dinosaurs did indeed die off, else you would see them today. And they had the smallest brain per body weight of any creature, i.e., they were dumb. (Whereas the much smaller and smarter ancestors of humans survived and flourished).
Nice moving of the goal posts. First you say "dinosaurs," then you say "big dinosaurs." First you say "dumbest," then you change it to "smallest brain per body weight," pretending that's some kind of catch-all as well.

What I stated are facts.
