While the number of wives thing is true, we must also look at the time at which Jesus was explaining things. During that time, other cultures could take numerous wives and the people knew this. So He was using this as an example for Him returning to earth and his wife (the church body) and the ones ready for Him being there. Mind you, this is the simplest explanation out there without going into further details and further theory; again this a pre-trib thread and I don't want to intrude my differing beliefs onto your differing beliefs.

It's interesting that a cry or a herald was made ..the bridegroom coming.go out to meet him...implying a warning...but it was at this time the 5 virgins realized they did not have enough oil...and left the party

Do you think they could have gotten in if they had stayed?

The virgins are the bride. The ones who are sleeping and not watching their "oil" is the sleeping church and lukewarm (and possibly even false Christians), versus the virgins who are always on the lookout and are ready. These virgins are those of are active in their church-body, they actively seek Him in their alone time, and also spread the gospel. The sleep church does none of this.

Also: Matthew 22, the parable of the wedding feast, this is an example of both the wedding guests and the post-wrath theory.

Doesn't it say "All" were asleep n another perspective of the five who had not enough oil could prospectively be the memorization of the word.... Not Enough light to get them through the dark times. No scripture to be found or had in the days Satan wars against the saints.

Quite possibly.Like today people tend not to handle Bibles any more, but, they use phones, tablets,computers, cd's. What happens when the lights go out? No Word. I have told my grown children to always keep a landline phone because when the power goes out you will have communication as long as the phone company generator is working. Likewise I say the digital Bible is fine, but keep the book.

Yep ...by following the others ...leaving the group is not a good idea...even if it means looking for more oil

Yep they were all asleep but the herald woke them up

Had another vivid dream...probably not about the rapture though

But I was in a car with my younger brother..I was the passengers he was driving...it was nighttime...an ambulance was behind us ...my brother stop in its way as if undecided what to do.....I began to be frantic tell him pull over...let them pass that's what your supposed to do...they sound their horn as if to say move....he just sat there as if undecided ignoring my cries and never spoke a word...I began to get more frantic...then instead of pulling over he drove towards the accident scene....and then pulled over and the ambulance trap us in

Then a man in uniform came toward us ...I thought to reprimand us...but he came to explain the situation.....a child fell into a hole in the ground and it's hand was pinned..

Then the child was taken out of the pit...we saw and it was a baby who looked lifeless...i notice it's right arm was dead and the hand that was pinned was black and blue...especially the fingers....

I asked if I could pray on the baby....they let me pray....then the baby was perfectly healed ...all of us and those around us rejoiced and praised God

This just in....lol

Had a very faint dream....can't remember...but the last scene was vivid...

The black goat stood up and violently grab the white goat....to open the white goats mouth ...to eat his tongue....

Wth....I. think it's pretty obvious what this could mean

I assume the black goat represents darkness trying to silence the other...the other is the light of the gospel...

I'm not 100% sure if they were both goats or sheep....or if one was a black goat and a white sheep....

One animal grab the other to open it's mouth and it's face was in the mouth of the other...trying to eat it's tongue...but I did not see it actually eat it's tongue... as if to say it will not be successful ...it was only in its mouth and the white goat or sheep was struggling in its graps
