I can know some idea like this, but I might be getting myself to seem quiet and submissive to God; so we need how only You, O God our Father, can change us and make Yourself at home in us
As You change our character, I understand, we become more prayerful all the time.
But Jesus is perfect and Jesus did go by Himself, at times. "But He was not alone."
Ah, yes . . . being alone and quiet. We can fear being alone and quiet. As we get quiet, we can be attacked by loneliness and boredom and lusts for pleasure and excitement, or we can suffer in memories with hurts and guilt and unforgiveness. So, we might dread being quiet and alone. But I understand that such cruel things can be Satan attacking us and our quiet, in order to keep us from submitting to God becoming quiet with Him in His love.
So, it can be important to get by ourselves and fight the spiritual battle of not allowing negative and nasty things to have power over us, and then settle down and be sober with God, and not let ourselves be devoured by that stuff.
"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)
