• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. Hey!

My OCD is much better now, but nowadays I started to have fear of the number 666.
I know it is the number of the Antichrist. But what if this number is in telephone numbers for example? There is a charity line here and the phone number is 16 666 or something like this. I started to be anxious about this, and then even when I saw a single '6', I started to associate it with Satan, and became anxious that this or that can be satanic and other thoughts.

What do you think?

Thank you so much. I'll keep in mind. I just don't know what to do about these situations. For example I was watching basketball team statistics, and some teams had 0,666 rata (just for an example) and I got anxious and was thinking about avoiding this.

I had huge fears in the past and avoided more and more things. And it was really bad.

Should I ever worry when I see this number without any satanic environment?

Now I have this fear again. I don't know why but I am afraid. I am even afraid that I will saw this number and I "make" this number and I feel afraid. For example when I play a board game played with a dice, I am afraid I will roll "6" three times in a row, and it makes the number I fear. I just don't know how to overcome this.
