Plan A is found in the Book of Genesis.

Gen 3:14 So the LORD God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life.

Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."

It was the Promise that God spoke to the serpent.

It was the Plan before the foundation of the world.

The Seed of the woman would be the One through which all the nations would be blessed.

God told Abraham he would be a part of this plan.

Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "AND TO YOUR SEED," who is Christ.

Salvation only comes through the One Seed, who is Christ.

There is no Plan B.

The claim that the ten tribes of Israel never returned post Babylon is a lie.

Isa 49:1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.
Isa 49:2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;
Isa 49:3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
Isa 49:4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.
Isa 49:5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.
Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

The thought is unscripted.

Isa 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Isa 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
Isa 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
Isa 60:4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
Isa 60:5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
Isa 60:6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.
Isa 60:7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
Isa 60:8 Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
Isa 60:9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
Isa 60:10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
Isa 60:11 Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
Isa 60:12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
Isa 60:13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
Isa 60:14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Well, here's one person who's definitely clueless. There's nothing here about the 10 tribes. What do you do, just randomly open the bible, pull any ole scripture you find and make false claims? Posts like your deserves a good tongue lashing. Absolutely no respect for God's words.

Isaiah 49:1-7 Good News Translation (GNT)

1 Listen to me, distant nations,
you people who live far away!
Before I was born, the Lordchose me
and appointed me to be his servant.
2 He made my words as sharp as a sword.
With his own hand he protected me.
He made me like an arrow,
sharp and ready for use.
3 He said to me, “Israel, you are my servant;
because of you, people will praise me.”

4 I said, “I have worked, but how hopeless it is!
I have used up my strength, but have accomplished nothing.”
Yet I can trust the Lord to defend my cause;
he will reward me for what I do.

5 Before I was born, the Lord appointed me;
he made me his servant to bring back his people,
to bring back the scattered people of Israel.
The Lord gives me honor;
he is the source of my strength.

6 The Lord said to me,

“I have a greater task for you, my servant.
Not only will you restore to greatness
the people of Israel who have survived,
but I will also make you a light to the nations—
so that all the world may be saved.”

7 Israel's holy God and savior says
to the one who is deeply despised,
who is hated by the nations
and is the servant of rulers:
“Kings will see you released
and will rise to show their respect;
princes also will see it,
and they will bow low to honor you.”

This will happen because theLord has chosen his servant;
the holy God of Israel keeps his promises.

What's the context of these verses? Post Babylon, of course!

This is the rest of the chapter in Isaiah 60 and what it said. The verses you omitted that reveals a prophecy still future.

Isaiah 60:15-22 GNT
15 “You will no longer be forsaken and hated,
A city deserted and desolate.
I will make you great and beautiful,
A place of joy forever and ever.
16 Nations and kings will care for you
As a mother nurses her child.
You will know that I, the Lord, have saved you,
That the mighty God of Israel sets you free.

17 “I will bring you gold instead of bronze,
Silver and bronze instead of iron and wood,
And iron instead of stone.
Your rulers will no longer oppress you;
I will make them rule with justice and peace.
18 The sounds of violence will be heard no more;
Destruction will not shatter your country again.
I will protect and defend you like a wall;
You will praise me because I have saved you.

19 “No longer will the sun be your light by day
Or the moon be your light by night;
I, the Lord, will be your eternal light;
The light of my glory will shine on you.
20 Your days of grief will come to an end.
I, the Lord, will be your eternal light,
More lasting than the sun and moon.
21 Your people will all do what is right,
And will possess the land forever.
I planted them, I made them,
To reveal my greatness to all.
22 Even your smallest and humblest family
Will become as great as a powerful nation.
When the right time comes,
I will make this happen quickly.
I am the Lord!”

There is no Plan B.
.

This is your idea of plan A, the punishment God gave to Eve and the snake?

You're a funny guy BAB2. Weird but funny, kinda like the jokes always on you type of funny.

Genesis 3:14 NKJV
14
So the Lord God said to the serpent:

“Because you have done this,
You are cursed more than all cattle,
And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you shall go,
And you shall eat dust
All the days of your life.

15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”

16 To the woman He said:

“I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception;
In pain you shall bring forth children;
Your desire shall be for your husband,
And he shall rule over you.”

.
It is my understanding that there was also a small remnant of those tribes who continued to live in the Southern Kingdom, when the Northern Kingdom was taken into captivity.

Yeah I heard they're breeding unicorns down there too.

Deuteronomy 33:17 KJV
His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

The rest of the chapter doesn't change the context of the verses I posted. God spoke in parables, your stumbling block. They, the passages, have a greater meaning and a deeper understanding than that meets the eye.

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

.
There are too many OT passages that prove the 10 tribes returned to their homeland post Babylon, besides the fact Cyrus decreeing all nations return to their homeland.

Why would all nations except the 10 tribes of Israel return home and not the 10 tribes? It makes no sense.

Every OT prophecy to all the nations mentioned in the prophecies spoke of the "return of their captivity;" when they would be revisited, returned to their inheritance.

The claim is propaganda.

And that's your reasoning why you think the 10 tribes already returned to Israel because it's called Israel? :doh:

Well that's all the proof needed to know you're definitely clueless about the Jewish people.

The modern nation of Israel
When the modern nation of Israel was founded in 1948, it was established as a haven for Jews. Some have mistakenly assumed that because its founders chose the name Israel, this nation is now home for all of the descendants of ancient Israel. Several passages in the Bible make it clear that the modern nation of Israel does not represent all of the ancient Israelites.

.
Isaiah 11:11 - 12:6 NKJV
11
It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time
To recover the remnant of His people who are left,

From Assyria and Egypt,
From Pathros and Cush,
From Elam and Shinar,
From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

12 He will set up a banner for the nations,
And will assemble the outcasts of Israel,
And gather together the dispersed of Judah
From the four corners of the earth.

13
Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart,
And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off;
Ephraim shall not envy Judah,
And Judah shall not harass Ephraim.

14
But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west;
Together they shall plunder the people of the East;
They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab;
And the people of Ammon shall obey them.

15
The Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt;
With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over the River,
And strike it in the seven streams,
And make men cross over dry-shod.
16 There will be a highway for the remnant of His people
Who will be left from Assyria,
As it was for Israel
In the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.

1 And in that day you will say:
“O Lord, I will praise You;
Though You were angry with me,
Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid;
‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.

3 Therefore with joy you will draw water
From the wells of salvation.

4 And in that day you will say:

“Praise the Lord, call upon His name;
Declare His deeds among the peoples,
Make mention that His name is exalted.
5 Sing to the Lord,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth.
6 Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion,
For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!”

This is still future!

It is strange how a Darbyite can take the promise of the Seed, who would bless all the nations, and turn it into something else in order to promote his Fairy-Tale.

Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

The verse above is Plan A.

There is no Plan B.

Jas_1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

.

Thank God, that we have His Word to show the truth and the errors.

When did I say it was a reason? You're the one who said the 10 tribes weren't mentioned in the verses, to which I replied with the fact the very word "Israel" is mentioned several times thru out the verses.

Now you're really showing your ignorance. It is not because you say so! The context is post-Babylon.

Try reading comprehension.

And which streams are Israel going to cross in the future? Don't they have "cars" now?

Think!

That's just silly!

Like I said before, you have no understanding. Accept the whole truth and not half truths.

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Reading Comprehension: The chicken does come before the egg! Your verses can't change the fact, the context of what this verse is saying - accept the whole truth and nothing half truth!

Do not continue to ignore this verse!

Now, as far as the "Therefore, there is not going to be a future 70th week of Daniel in which God will go back to dealing with the Israelites under the Old Covenant."..... it is not God who confirms the Sinai covenant for 7 years in Daniel 9:27b, but the Antichrist. So your logic on that point makes no sense to me.
I'm surprise BABerean2 didn't correct you on this point; but then again, it's a major doctrine, believed by many, that's built on a "reading comprehension" error.

The "he" in Dan 9:27 cannot be referring to the "Antichrist" because the subject of the previous verse was "Messiah." "Messiah" is the antecedent of the "he" in verse 27.

The colon used in the verse was followed by the details on the Savior being cut off, where who you claim to be the "Antichrist" is mentioned. The sentence ends with a period after the semicolon that followed the colon. The pronoun "he" and the subject are in the "nominative case."

Imagine educated people building a doctrine, believed by thousands, if not millions of people, that's based on a simple reading comprehension problem! What is this world coming to?

How could the world survive without little ole me! Wow!

The Emperor's New Clothes Christianity!

What a thing to tell the King!

Now you're really showing your ignorance. It is not because you say so! The context is post-Babylon.

Try reading comprehension.

And which streams are Israel going to cross in the future? Don't they have "cars" now?

Think!

That's just silly!

Some people thinks it makes them important insulting others.

I don't even see how this is related to the discussion.

Exactly. If you did, you would know the current nation of Israel does not consist of descendants from all 12 sons of Jacob.

When did I say it was a reason? You're the one who said the 10 tribes weren't mentioned in the verses, to which I replied with the fact the very word "Israel" is mentioned several times thru out the verses.

The only person clueless around here is you. You have no understanding.

I don't even see how this is related to the discussion.
Now you're really showing your ignorance. It is not because you say so! The context is post-Babylon.

You're ignoring the fact that Isaiah 49 is still future as is Isaiah 60:15. Nowhere and no time in Israel has there been eternal joy. Israel is currently the most hated country in the middle east. The goal of surrounding muslim nations is the annihilation of Israel to wipe them off the map. A simple fact that seems to go right over your head as well as the scriptures you've posted.

Isaiah 60:15
15
“You will no longer be forsaken and hated,
A city deserted and desolate.
I will make you great and beautiful,
A place of joy forever and ever.

The ancient nation of Israel originated from Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel (Genesis 32:28). The descendants of his 12 sons became known as the 12 tribes of Israel (Genesis 35:22). As these people multiplied and the nation of Israel developed, each of these family units represented one of “the divisions of Israel” headed by a man from that tribe (Numbers 1:4; Joshua 22:14).

After the death of King Solomon, the nation divided into two kingdoms. The northern kingdom, which consisted of 10 tribes (1 Kings 11:31), retained the name Israel; and the southern kingdom, which consisted of two tribes, became known as Judah (1 Kings 12:21).

A civil war soon erupted, as the Jews mustered an army to fight against the Israelites for the purpose of restoring all of the tribes under the rule of Rehoboam, the son of Solomon. This endeavor failed, and the two nations, representing the Jews and Israelites, never reconciled. However, the Bible says that in the future these peoples will be reconciled.

God sent prophets to the citizens of both Israel and Judah warning them that unless they repented of their sins, their nations would face disaster and they would be taken into captivity. The nation of Israel was toppled by Assyria in 722 B.C. and its citizens were deported (1 Chronicles 5:26; Ezekiel 39:23).

Although a large number of Israelites from three of the tribes comprising the northern kingdom had migrated to Judah because of their nation’s rebellion against God and the punishment that came because of it (2 Chronicles 15:3-6, 9), the vast majority of ancient Israel’s citizens were either killed in battle or deported by the Assyrians. Those taken captive were sent to “Halah, Habor, Hara, and the river Gozan” (1 Chronicles 5:26).

This is the point in history where some of the tribes appear to have been lost. Historians often refer to these people after this time as the “Lost Tribes of Israel” or the “Ten Lost Tribes.”

While most of these people no longer remember their original language, culture, history or religion, there are biblical, linguistic and archaeological clues indicating what happened to them and where they are today. Before continuing our study of what the Bible says about these people, let’s see why the Jews, descendants of the ancient nation of Judah, have not lost their identity.

Because of disobedience to God’s laws, the nation of Judah was taken into captivity by Babylon between 604 and 586 B.C. Prior to their going into captivity, God told the citizens of Judah: “For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place” (Jeremiah 29:10).

After the 70 years had expired, a remnant of the Jewish people returned to their native land and rebuilt the city of Jerusalem and the temple under the leadership of Ezra and Nehemiah.

One of the reasons the nation of Judah had been punished was for ignoring God’s command to observe the biblical Sabbath, which occurs on the seventh day of the week, Saturday. Recognizing this important principle, Nehemiah enforced Sabbath observance in Jerusalem (Nehemiah 13:15-19). This act of worship had been set up by God as a perpetual covenant and as a sign between Him and His people (Exodus 31:13, 16-17).

Through the centuries many Jews ceased to observe the Sabbath and many today no longer observe it. Yet it seems that a portion of the Jewish people has always continued this practice, and the Jewish people retain this understanding as part of their cultural heritage. The result is that unlike the 10 tribes who were part of Israel, the Jews have not lost their identity. Many Jews today reside in the modern State of Israel, but this nation does not include the many descendants of the 10 tribes who previously comprised the kingdom of Israel after Solomon.

Hosea 3:1-5
1
Then the Lord said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the Lord for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans.
2 So I bought her for myself for fifteen shekels of silver, and one and one-half homers of barley. 3 And I said to her, “You shall stay with me many days; you shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a man—so, too, will I be toward you.”
4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim. 5 Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the latter days.

Latter days means future, it does not mean a time immediately after the babylonian exile.

Judah with Ephraim will be gather together after 2000 years. Never in Israel's history has both been gather together after the babylonian exile. This is a prophecy of the future, not the post babylonian exile.

Hosea 6:1-11
1
Come, and let us return to the Lord;
For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
2 After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
3 Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
4 “O Ephraim, what shall I do to you?
O Judah,
what shall I do to you?
For your faithfulness is like a morning cloud,
And like the early dew it goes away.
5 Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets,
I have slain them by the words of My mouth;
And your judgments are like light that goes forth.
6 For I desire mercy and not sacrifice,
And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

7 “But like men they transgressed the covenant;
There they dealt treacherously with Me.
8 Gilead is a city of evildoers
And defiled with blood.
9 As bands of robbers lie in wait for a man,
So the company of priests murder on the way to Shechem;
Surely they commit lewdness.
10 I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel:
There is the harlotry of Ephraim; Israel is defiled.
11
Also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed for you,
When I return the captives of My people.

Ezekiel 20:35 parallels Revelation 12:14 of the 144,000 (all 12 tribes: Judah and Israel) gathered into the wilderness safely and establish the new covenant with all of Israel. This is a prophecy of the future, not the post babylonian exile.

Ezekiel 20:34-37
34
I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out. 35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will plead My case with you face to face. 36 Just as I pleaded My case with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will plead My case with you,” says the Lord God.

37 “I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant;

Revelation 12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

Nowhere in history can you prove Judah and Ephraim fighting together against Jordan. Nowhere can you prove Egypt completely destroy. This is a prophecy of the future, not the post babylonian exile.

Isaiah 11:11-16
11
It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time
To recover the remnant of His people who are left,

From Assyria and Egypt,
From Pathros and Cush,
From Elam and Shinar,
From Hamath and the islands of the sea.
12 He will set up a banner for the nations,
And will assemble the outcasts of Israel,
And gather together the dispersed of Judah
From the four corners of the earth.

13
Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart,
And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off;
Ephraim shall not envy Judah,
And Judah shall not harass Ephraim.

14
But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west;
Together they shall plunder the people of the East;
They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab;
And the people of Ammon shall obey them.

15
The Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt;
With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over the River
And strike it in the seven streams,
And make men cross over dry-shod.
16 There will be a highway for the remnant of His people
Who will be left from Assyria,
As it was for Israel
In the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.

=============================
All future prophecies, none yet fulfilled. All concerning the regathering of both houses: Judah and Israel in the future. All refutes any possibility both houses regathered together after the babylonian exile.

Jeremiah 23:3-6
3
“But I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them,
and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 4 I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says the Lord.
5 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,
“That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness;
A King shall reign and prosper,
And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.
6 In His days Judah will be saved,
And Israel will dwell safely;

Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Jeremiah 30:3-7
3
For behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord, ‘that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah,’ says the Lord. ‘And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.’”
4 Now these are the words that the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah.
5 “For thus says the Lord:
‘We have heard a voice of trembling,
Of fear, and not of peace.
6 Ask now, and see,
Whether a man is ever in labor with child?
So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins
Like a woman in labor,
And all faces turned pale?

7
Alas! For that day is great,
So that none is like it;
And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble,
But he shall be saved out of it.

Jeremiah 30:18
“Thus says the Lord:
‘Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents,
And have mercy on his dwelling places;
The city shall be built upon its own mound,
And the palace shall remain according to its own plan.

Jeremiah 31:27-33
27
“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast. 28 And it shall come to pass, that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy, and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the Lord. 29 In those days they shall say no more:

‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes,
And the children’s teeth are set on edge.’

30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity; every man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Zechariah 10:6-10
6
“I will strengthen the house of Judah,
And I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back,

Because I have mercy on them.
They shall be as though I had not cast them aside;
For I
am the Lord their God,
And I will hear them.

7 Those of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man,
And their heart shall rejoice as if with wine.
Yes, their children shall see
it and be glad;
Their heart shall rejoice in the Lord.

8 I will whistle for them and gather them,
For I will redeem them;
And they shall increase as they once increased.

9 “I will sow them among the peoples,
And they shall remember Me in far countries;
They shall live, together with their children,
And they shall return.

10
I will also bring them back from the land of Egypt,
And gather them from Assyria.
I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon,
Until no
more room is found for them.

Jeremiah 31:31-32 (ESV)
31 "Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, 32 not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the LORD.

So if there's only plan A and no plan B, what's this old covenant the Israelites broke? There is no letter before A.

Abraham starts with an "A".

The Abrahamic covenant is actually plan A.

Gal 3:16 Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, "And to offsprings," referring to many, but referring to one, "And to your offspring," who is Christ.

..............................................................................................................

Heb 8:6 But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.

Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.

Heb 8:8 For he finds fault with them when he says: "Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,

Heb 8:9 not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. For they did not continue in my covenant, and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.

Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more."

Heb 8:13 In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

This may be confusing to some of us, because the author of Hebrews is comparing the Sinai covenant to the New Covenant of Christ.
Therefore, he is calling the Sinai covenant the first and the New Covenant of Christ the second.

However, the New Covenant of Christ is actually a fulfillment of the promise to Abraham that one of his descendants would be the One through which all of the nations would be blessed.

The fulfillment of the Abrahamic covenant is found in Galatians 3:16.

Listen to what Sam Nadler, who is a Jewish Christian, has to say about Plan A.
And he also calls it Plan A.

Some people thinks it makes them important insulting others.
Scriptures says in Pro 17:10, A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool.

You're the one that said I was clueless.

Exactly. If you did, you would know the current nation of Israel does not consist of descendants from all 12 sons of Jacob.
And if you had comprehend, you would have known that what you're calling Israel is not Israel. The word "clueless" does come to mind here.

Why must I keep repeating myself? I said no verse can alter the context of what the verse I posted is saying. Why can't you comprehend that?

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

This is two different events. Israel is gathered and restored before Christ is given as a sign to the Gentiles.

Latter days means future, it does not mean a time immediately after the babylonian exile.

Judah with Ephraim will be gather together after 2000 years. Never in Israel's history has both been gather together after the babylonian exile. This is a prophecy of the future, not the post babylonian exile.
I don't know what's up with this long winded story because scripture proves Israel returned post Babylon when all the nations held captive in Babylon were set free by Cyrus' decree. You are only repeating false Christian propaganda that the scriptures do not support. You are contradicting and ignoring the scriptures, which you continue to do regardless of verses being posted proving otherwise.

37 “I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant;

Revelation 12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
These two verses aren't connected, and Ezekiel is post Babylon. Ezekiel is prophesying about the Babylonian exodus.

Nowhere in history can you prove Judah and Ephraim fighting together against Jordan. Nowhere can you prove Egypt completely destroy. This is a prophecy of the future, not the post babylonian exile.

Isaiah 11:11-16

The context is post Babylon. Judah and Ephraim fighting against Jordan is symbolic to the verses I posted that says Christ is an arrow in God's quiver. It is symbolic.

All future prophecies, none yet fulfilled. All concerning the regathering of both houses: Judah and Israel in the future. All refutes any possibility both houses regathered together after the babylonian exile.

Whether a man is ever in labor with child?
So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins
Like a woman in labor,
And all faces turned pale?

7
Alas! For that day is great,
So that none is like it;
And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble,
But he shall be saved out of it.

Jeremiah 30:18
“Thus says the Lord:
‘Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents,
And have mercy on his dwelling places;

They shall be as though I had not cast them aside;
For I
am the Lord their God,
And I will hear them.

7 Those of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man,
And their heart shall rejoice as if with wine.
Yes, their children shall see
it and be glad;
Their heart shall rejoice in the Lord.

8 I will whistle for them and gather them,
For I will redeem them;
And they shall increase as they once increased.

9 “I will sow them among the peoples,
And they shall remember Me in far countries;
They shall live, together with their children,
And they shall return.

10
I will also bring them back from the land of Egypt,
And gather them from Assyria.
I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon,
Until no
more room is found for them.

.
Yours is not comprehending the parables concerning Israel's return post-Babylyon and the prophecies pertaining to the heavenly exodus into the heavenly promise land, and I will leave it at that.

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Your stumbling block is you continuing to ignore the fact Israel isn't going to be gathered on horses and camels, trekking across dried river beds.

The messiah is the person who is cutoff after 69 weeks (62+7) in Daniel 9:27a. The false messiah, or Antichrist, is the person who confirms the covenant for 1 week, the 7 years, in Daniel 9:27b.

Your argument falls because (1) there was no covenant recorded in history having a 7 year stipulation, if a person chooses someone like Titus (2) there is no mention of Jesus confirming a covenant recorded by the apostles having a 7 year stipulation.

The 7 years are forthcoming, and the schmita cycle is the elephant in the room.

Your assumption ignores the words of Jesus in Matthew's Gospel and also ignores the text from the Book of Hebrews, which reveals the covenant in Daniel chapter 9.

Do you think the angel Gabriel did not mention the most important covenant in the history of the world?

The New Covenant was clearly made with the House of Israel and the House of Judah.

How much clearer could it be?

Mat 26:28 For this is my blood, which ratifies the New Covenant, my blood shed on behalf of many, so that they may have their sins forgiven. (Complete Jewish Bible)

Heb 8:6 But now the work Yeshua has been given to do is far superior to theirs, just as the covenant he mediates is better. For this covenant has been given as Torah on the basis of better promises.
The New Covenant of Christ is now in effect
.

Heb 8:7 Indeed, if the first covenant had not given ground for faultfinding, there would have been no need for a second one.

Heb 8:8 For God does find fault with the people when he says, " 'See! The days are coming,' says Adonai, 'when I will establish over the house of Isra'el and over the house of Y'hudah a new covenant.

Heb 8:9 " 'It will not be like the covenant which I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by their hand and led them forth out of the land of Egypt; because they, for their part, did not remain faithful to my covenant; so I, for my part, stopped concerning myself with them,' says Adonai.

Heb 8:10 " 'For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Isra'el after those days,' says Adonai: 'I will put my Torah in their minds and write it on their hearts; I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Heb 8:11 " 'None of them will teach his fellow-citizen or his brother, saying, "Know Adonai!" For all will know me, from the least of them to the greatest,

Heb 8:12 because I will be merciful toward their wickednesses and remember their sins no more.' "
Look at Matthew 26:28 and Daniel 9:24.

Heb 8:13 By using the term, "new," he has made the first covenant "old"; and something being made old, something in the process of aging, is on its way to vanishing altogether.
(Complete Jewish Bible)

............................................................
Dan 9:24 "Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and for your holy city for putting an end to the transgression, for making an end of sin, for forgiving iniquity, for bringing in everlasting justice, for setting the seal on vision and prophet, and for anointing the Especially Holy Place.
That most Holy Place is the New Testament temple, which is Christ and His Church.

The Gospel was taken to the Jews for 7 years before it was taken to the Gentiles. One half week was the ministry of Christ and the other half week was through His Holy Spirit working in His Apostles, up until the time Stephen was stoned.

Stephen reviewed the whole history of Israel and told them they had killed their Messiah, before they killed him.

His stoning ended the 70 weeks.

Mat 23:37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!

Your mistake is in missing the fact that scripture places The 7 year time frame on THE CONFIRMATION, not the covenant itself. The Covenant is everlasting, and was confirmed to the Jews by and through Jesus Christ, the Prince who was to come, for the first 3.5 years via His earthly ministry and the second 3.5 years via the ministry of the apostles to the Jews Exclusively.

I don't understand you people.

It's reading comprehension, not the events surrounding the issue, that determines what is being said. The antecedent of the "he" in Dan 28 is the subject of verse 27, the nominative noun "Messiah." That's simple reading comprehension.

Reading comprehension is the basic foundation of the whole matter. If you can't read and understand what is being said, how are you going to get anywhere from there? Your argument has no merit and is void of any basic, fundamental logic!

Your argument falls because (1) there was no covenant recorded in history having a 7 year stipulation,
That has nothing to do with the reading comprehension fact of what Dan 9:27-28 grammatically states, which is your problem and stumbling block.

if a person chooses someone like Titus (2) there is no mention of Jesus confirming a covenant recorded by the apostles having a 7 year stipulation.
Again, which has no bearing on what Dan 9:27-28 grammatically says. You're putting the cart before the horse.

The 7 years are forthcoming, and the schmita cycle is the elephant in the room.
Again, which has nothing to do with the fact.

All these excuses of yours don't add up because you're not building from the ground up. The basic fact established by what's written is that the antecedent of the "he" in verse 28 is the subject of verse 27, the "Messiah."

Reading Comprehension 101, ask somebody.

Shame on me!
