I mean we can ignore that nearly every other poll doesn't show him coming remotely close to those numbers (the recent PPP and Quinnipiac polls have him winning 3.13% and 13.54% respectively) but that's no fun is it?

Could it be that people of all races and ethnicities prefer "building" something?[/QUOTE]

You know the Great Wall of China, the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain were built to keep people IN, not out. Just sayin'.............

... Trump apparently has massive appeal to Hispanics and Blacks, more so than any past Republican presidential candidate for a while.
Probably because these other Repub candidates are not speaking up, but simply accepting the "LABEL" given to them by the media. Thus, these groups think that Paul Ryan pushes old ladies over the cliff in their wheel chairs, and Ronald Reagan stole a can of beans from a homeless person, took it back to the White House and ate it with relish (enjoyment - I like pickle relish in my Pork-n-Beans, BTW...)

The Iron curtain was not actually built. It was Churchill's characterization of the Soviet Union's hegemonic rule over Eastern Europe. And The Great Wall was built to keep people out specifically the Mongols just as Hadrian's Wall was built to keep the northern Celtic tribes out of Roman held Britain. But you are correct about the Berlin Wall as for some reason the people living under real socialism seemed to want to escape to a place where the government did not own the means of production.

grasping,
YES, you are correct. However, the Iron Curtain was a zone enforced by a military presence. You are right in saying it was not really a wall that was built, but it was a "fence," or a buffer area where people were not allowed to cross. Not too many trying to cross into the Soviet Block, though! One or two spies, maybe!

I thought we learned with obummer that inexperienced politicians make bad presidents, and Forrest Trump is definitely inexperienced..being a businessman.. he can say whatever he wants, but that won't make him a good president. I already threw my vote away in 2008 thinking a inexperienced politician would fix things. He also had nice inspiring speeches before he was elected. Trump is even worse than our current guy in the experience department. Real politics is a lot different than business politics, and Trump lacks in business ethics anyhow, so that is also a bad measuring stick.

I do not think that President Obama's inexperience was a factor in making him a bad President. I think it was his ideology that made him a bad President. From what i have seen of Presidents of the past many of the ones that have had the most experience in politics have ended up being fairly poor Presidents. Nixon and Johnson to name two. While many inexperienced ones have done quite well. I do not see that experience in politics is very helpful in carrying out the duties of a President and i do not think one can use that as a good predictor of the potential success or failure of a person in that office.
