We used to go outside during a tornado warning and watch the sky.

Some of our neighbors would be outside, too. I guess everyone was more interested in seeing a funnel cloud than taking shelter.

done that plenty of times.... never seen a tornado myself but have seen several black wall clouds that spawned them

The Bible says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just. . .” (1 John 1:9). The biggest word in Scripture just might be that two-letter one, IF. Justification…rationalization…comparison…these are tools of the jailbird. But Jesus says, “Blessed are those who mourn. . .” (Matthew 5:4). You see, true blessedness begins with deep sadness.

World Humanitarian Day

I think I will be a humanitarian and go nuke a root beer float on my Leer Jet.

It is only 65 here..... in mid august which is very weird for sure but I guess the rain is the culprit. The temps for the days ahead are 60s/80s which is not summer temps but rather more like spring or fall temps I just hope this doesn't mean a harsh winter is ahead.

looks like rain for most of the day here.... and I may have the day off but the rain ruins most of that

Now I'm being nagged to pay for site supporter status again.... grrrr. Seems the only improvements this place is making is all related to begging for money after they downgrade the forum features.

Time will tell, but so far this owner seems to be following the same modus operandi as the previous two owners with the exception that the other two owners didn't strive for more income as this one has from the start instead of getting more features we have site supporter, and then eternal site supporter or whatever. When there was a healthy blessings exchange everyone wanted site supporter so you could post faster to "earn" blessings to buy stuff with and there were some who even PAID money to BUY blessings to sponsor paid fellowship threads in BE. So far I don't see any interest at all in blessings here.... and that is sad because a lot of people came to the site to play around that were hurt and suffering in the past and in time many opened up to the wonderful people in BE. Now for the most part the place is about arguing and not a lot else.
