Amen! There's no reason to let worries over things of this world hold us down.

We have two choices about what we'll receice after we leave this world. Everlasting salvation, or everlasting damnation. But we must make that choice now while we are still here. For when the time comes for us to leave this place, leaving everything else behind it will be too late to change our minds. And since we take nothing with us from this world when we go, we may as well stay focused on what Jesus has in store for us in Heaven.

Glory to God! The only thing that gave strength to my knees this morning as I kissed my Mom goodbye and touched her little head as she took her last breath, was the sure knowledge that she accepted the precious gift of salvation from Jesus over a half century ago! I know, as I type these words she is safe with Jesus and in just a whisper of time, I will join her in worship at His Feet!

My Mom has chosen Everlasting Salvation, and so have I.

And I've chosen Everlasting Salvation also! I will look foward to meeting your Mom one day. It does bring us comfort when we know our loved ones are with Jesus when that time comes for them to join Him.

But now you must carry on without her, and I know that still hurts regardless. You most certainly will remain in my prayers.

Job 1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

Psalms 113:2 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

1 Timothy 6:4  He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, wherof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,  5  Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:  from such withdraw thyself.  6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.  7  For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
