Are They Realy Your Friends?

Are you letting what your friends think, stop you from accepting Jesus as your personal saviour? Are you worried that they might reject you if you do?

Jesus was rejected for your sake. He even knew he would be rejected but He loved you enough that he didn't let that stop Him from giving His life so you could recieve eternal salvation.

Luke 17:25
But first must he suffer many things, and be of this generation.

Mark 8:31
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

There's no greater friend than Jesus, He loves you so much that He suffered and gave His life for you. He did this so you could recieve an everlasting life. Is someone realy that great of a friend if they reject you simply because you want to recieve an everlasting life, instead of seeing you suffer eternal damnation? Only a true friend cares about what happens to your eternal soul.

John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus never changes! If you accept Him as your personal saviour He will not reject you. Nor will He ever leave or forsake you.

Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.

Psalms 94:14
For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Something else to consider if you're worried about what your friends might think if you accept Jesus. Is that they could be worried about what you would think if they did.
