This thread is about the soon to happen attack upon Israel as described in Psalms 83.
If people want to think they will be removed before this disaster, they may be in for a shock as prophecy is clear; this will be a worldwide event that will come upon everyone. Luke 21:35, Zephaniah 3:8, Revelation 6:15 covers all the peoples of the world.
This judgement/punishment by fire is the test described in 1 Corinthians 3:12-15. Those who keep their faith and pass this test, 1 Peter 4:12, have the Lord's promise of being gathered into the Holy Land, Ezekiel 34:11-21, and preparing for the eventual Return of Jesus. Ezekiel 39:28-29
THIS is our promise, not some cop out from the task of spreading the Gospel, without any kind of test of faith first.

I just read Ezekiel 34:11-21 again on the popup Scripture. It made tears come to my eyes! What a fabulous promise of God to His people. What more could we ask for from our mighty Creator!

This is clear, most of the new settlers of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, will be actual descendants of Jacob, now still scattered among the nations. Ezekiel 36:19
THEN the amazing promise of Ezekiel 36:22-38 will take place! Can you think of a more incredible thing to happen?

How can you be sure of that? The prophets were careful to differentiate between Judah and Israel. They have not rejoined as per Ezekiel 37, as yet.
The Jewish people in Israel today are Jews, make no mistake about that. In the last days, the 2 Houses will come together and in tears go to the Holy Land, searching for their God. Jeremiah 50:4-7

Same answer .... you use the first, but ignore the Lord, his prophets, and apostles distinction between their nation of Israel .... and the Gentiles [heathen] of the other nations of the earth

Even when Paul and the other Apostles go out to the 'gentiles', who are actually the lost sheep of Israel. It is a known fact that the Galatian's were Gauls, who were descendants of the tribe of Reuben. Remember Jesus said: I have come to save the lost sheep of Israel. James 1:1 and 1 Peter 1:1 plus Paul in Acts of the Apostles 26:7 all say the 12 tribes are still in existence and are scattered, as they were then and remain so today.
There IS historical, archaeological, heraldic and linguistic proofs of where the 10 tribes migrated to, a lot of mixing has happened, to the Jews as well, but God knows who His chosen people are. Amos 9:9

Isaiah 29:6 What is prophesied will be so shocking, so terrifying, that it is impossible for us to really comprehend and only when it happens, will we realise the full extent of the damage done to the world and our modern infrastructure.
There has never been a comparable natural disaster in recorded history. The nearest to it may be the continuous winters of 1883-87, caused by the ash clouds from Krakatoa, or some recent tsunamis. Only Noah’s flood really compares, but fortunately this time we have God’s promise to never again destroy man and animals so extensively. Yes, there will be a meteor shower at the Return. That doesn't preclude one before that, at the Sixth Seal. Or another earthquake at: Revelation 16:18 There is another separate e/q at the Gog/Magog attack: Ezekiel 38:19

The e/q at the Sixth Seal/ Psalm 83 event is described differently, Revelation 6:14....every mountain and island moved. Sounds more like tectonic plate shift.

This passage from the prophet Ezra, describes very well how the Lord will act on the terrible Day of His vengeance and wrath. Isaiah 63:1-6, Ezekiel 21:7, Isaiah 33:14, Jeremiah 30:4-7, Isaiah 13:6-16, Isaiah 30:26-30, Revelation 6:12-17.
But those righteous people who trust and believe in His salvation will be saved. They are told to be prepared – that is, be aware of what will happen, so as not to be taken by surprise. There is not a rapture, removal: ‘these calamities will surround you’.

THEN; God’s righteous servants will soon gather and settle into New Israel.
