Since God created woman, is it imperative He possess a feminine substance or essence ?
Being God, can't He created femininity without possessing any female characteristics ?
In glory men and women will be like the angels which is...
I have come across many testimonies from all denominations that were revealed by revelation from the Holy Spirit that revealed the Father figure and never a mother/wife figure.
Romans 8:15
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Holy Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by HIM we cry, "Abba, Father
By Him, who is Holy Spirit we are crying out ABBA meaning Father. How could the Holy Spirit be the wife or feminine if we are crying out to Him Father.
And again.....
Galatians 4:6
And because we are his children, God has sent the Holy Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, "Abba, Father."
I don't see the faithful seeing by revelation a mother/wife figure and I certainly don't find scripture instructing us to call out mother.

Well, I certainly feel that God being masculine makes more sense, and consider Him masculine myself. I am simply trying to find a biblical basis for God's gender and I am unable to at this point in time. Interesting that the Hebrews did not have gender-specific pronouns, nor male names for God. There must have been a reason why. Probably to elevate God above gender. Abba was not used in the Old Testament.
But obviously Jesus clarifies this with His use of the word Abba which means Father. And He refers to His Father much in the gospels.

No one said it to my recollection.Who said it is imperative that God possess a feminine substance or essence. Please explain through first century testimonies of the apostles. Thank you kindly.

At one time there were no women, then there were women.
God created both men and women from and by His power.
It is not gender, identifying, etc. No new teaching whatsoever.
The creation of women and feminiity came from a masculine God.
There are Three Persons in God. Just as men emphasize masculinity (expressiveness), while also having femininity (receptivity), the First Person is Infinitely Masculine AND Infinitely Feminine, while EMPHASIZING Masculinity.
The Second Person likewise is Infinitely Masculine and Feminine, but EMPHASIZES Femininity.
Thus the First Person is spiritually Masculine, and the Second Person is spiritually Feminine.
Because both Persons are Infinitely Masculine, however, they can be revealed as "Father" and "Son".
From where did women originate ? Who created women ?I respect your point of views but I must politely reject them with all due respect because they are not what I a man in his 40's have come to experience in my walks with the God of Abraham Isaac and Israel.
Sorry Ha, and don't take offence but this will certainly not pass as the faith once given to the first century saints. That being said you are entitled to your opinion and beliefs.
Good Bye!
Proof?I've read the C of E may address this issue soon by throwing out God being Father. Admittedly I haven't seen much on this (only read 2 articles)....maybe our Anglican posters can fill us in with what is going on.
So your asking as to why the Scriptures define our heavenly Father as masculine - I wonder!
4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are very much masculine and to be feared.
The church and the earth are very much feminine and easily prone to mischief.
Where is this new teaching coming from Patricius79, as a Christain I have never come across it. Did you recieve this by revelation?
Thank you kindly.
