The League of Aldonadi: Timeless Wisdom

Well, I'm doing somewhat better. I'm not delirious anymore (well, no more than usual), but my head still feels like it's going to explode. I'm going to give it another day or two before I get back to posting. Sorry for my absence, and thanks for your patience.

Realize that he can only use the power of the sword bound to him, and that sword binding ceremonies must take place before the impartial elders. I say that to let you know that he can't switch his bound-sword on a whim. Also, the non-bound sword can be stolen and he would have no way to recover it. Just tid-bits for you to consider.

Now, that said, what exactly were you thinking for his swords' powers?

It's not the weapon, but the person that makes legends. Washington, lincoln, Michael jordan, yeah even Christ... those are real life legends. So are Hitler, bin Laden, and Napoleon, in their own way. We don't remember them for any weapon or thing they had, but for what they did, the people they became. A sword is made legendary by virtue of what it has been used for. a person is legendary for what he or she has done. One may gain fame for having a legendary sword, but take it away, and they're just another person. I guess my point is, true legacy comes from within.

All aldonadi swords have some manner of power intrinsic to them. That's what makes them aldonadian swords. A non-aldonadi sword is extremely blunt and fragile comparatively. An aldonadi sword would shatter a non-aldonadi sword, rather literally. Training aside, aldonadians are of little power without a true aldonadi sword.
What I'm saying is, if he is truly legendary, he is going to have an aldonadian sword. And all aldonadian swords have innate abilities.
Besides this, all aldonadians use magic, even feralists. Their belief is not anti-magical, but toward instinct and ferocity. Less thinking and more feeling. Even the factions that are anti-magical use the swords' powers. They even use magic, just only as absolutely necessary.
