Nah, it's cool. It wouldn't be an Animal wars thread if it didn't slip into comas every now and then.

Go figure. We plan to resurrect a comatose thread, and the whole CF goes down.
(I still think Shadow and The Cheat have something to do with it...but I'm suspecting Jelly and Joy more and more...)

So is it warming up wherever you all live in real life? I live in Minnesota, so we had our week of summer, last week. There may be an encore, though.

Perhaps I'm still finding out all the negatives in the newly reformatted CF. It definately seems a bit more quiet around here since everything came back online. Strange.....

I totally forgot about Shadow's attempt to rewrite the Animal Wars thread! How is that going?

Where did Joy go? Last I read she had fourteen million things to do over some weekend, and I didn't see her post again in the Animal Wars threads at all after that.

Is anyone else leaving CF????? *nervous*

I'm still working on it, and Jelly is still around, albeit subdued by the newness. I think she'll come around in time, else I shall smite her with yonder yak to the foreparts of her head.

The rewrite is still in the works, but it is back burner for a while now. I haven't nor will I give up on it, and eventually I will get it published for us all.

As for this one, it won't be the first time the thread goes under for a while. It'll finish, in it's own time. Just don't you leave, Sampson, or Firerock and I will go all Maverik on you. I can train just about anyone with a good rifle.

Joy's here, but I have two more days of soccer, and all that crazy end-of-school-year stuff. Plus the site's been uber-slow and my internet's having a few problems.

My life lately... has been a very chaotic mess, which includes lots of flute playing, two bouts of being poisoned, chores, and strange people. I wasn't planning on leaving until after the summer, but with my life picking up the pace and CF making me feel really isolated (seriously, this place is so confusing and hard to navigate, I just don't want to deal with it)... it just feels like a good time to go ahead and more or less leave. I may still be poking around, but I'm going to cease posting and PMs will just be replied to as I have time and if I feel like it.

So it's not really the forum changes, it just made it more attractive to not be here. XD Plus everything has slowed down. It feels right.

And I will still be around... but I'll be more like a ghost; just haunting things. But I want things to be so that I can not post or be active for long periods of time and not really be missed. With my schedule, I don't want have nagging thoughts in the back of my mind that I need to get on CF and do stuff (after not being able to get on for however long) when I really have other things I need to be doing.

So yes! That is the jelly situation! You heard it straight from the horse's mouth! I'll miss everyone, but I've been a lame friend lately anyway.

Oh, well, it's not like I bound you to an oath of secrecy or anything. My heart would be happiest with Joy taking my characters... but I know it'd be a big pain (for anyone!) so if they just have to mysteriously vanish, that's fine. Whatever can be done with them is okay with me. (Unless it isn't. Then you'll know about it. )

I don't know, I mean, it's not too hard to get around. I just go out of the User Control panel anyway, and periodically check the OOC thread to see if anything good is coming up. And the link to the control panel is still at the top of the page. Granted, it's very small, but it's there, and as long as I can get there, I can manage my way around well enough.

There is still something about it, though, that just rubs the wrong way. I can't pinpoint it, but I know it's there.

As I said... I'll probably still hang around, but beyond that is no promises. I mean, of course I have a few minutes to check every now and then, but most of the time I feel obligated the moment I get on because I have a tidy little mountain of unreplied things lurking around.... >_> I'm pretty surprised I was able to get on today!

I can't even figure out how to read any of the announcements, so I have no idea. All I know is they lost like, their main tech guy so we can expect more of the same chaos until they find a replacement.

I would absolutely heart a random PM, especially from one such as you. I will do my best to reply to anything sent, but I can't make promises. I usually read one and want to reply, but then I get distracted by something outside or on television...or the fact that I should be heading to work. Ha!

I understand that they're overhauling the whole site because of size issues and all the randomness of the different additions and whatnot, but I seriously didn't think they needed to recreate the site. Oh well...wait and see is the name of the game now. *eep!*

I'd laugh if in like a year or two, we all suddenly come back to the Animals Wars thread and started posting to the story again. That'd be a perfect fit for the story itself.
