Quarren was surprised at what Morvaltur had said. He had not been on the Council, and had gone in the Room only to receive missions.
Well, I guess some things change... He thought lamely as the walked towards the Council Room. Getting in the turbo lift, it sped up while Quarren looked at it, ignoring the music playing in the background.
This please needs some cleaning. He was crouched down to see how thick the dust was, when the Lift stopped and it's doors opened. Standing up quickly, he stepped out and the sensors in the door signaled for it to open. The door responded, and Quarren walked in, and bowed to Ravion and the other occupants. Using the force to push a chair towards him, he looked at the orb, dusted it off with his hand, and sat down.

"The orb is a camera and hologram emitter, if you're wondering. It hasn't run in a while but still works fine." Ravion spins his chair to face everybody and with a wave of his hand the window's tint changes to transparent and the beautiful vista of the council tower is seen all around them. The landscape of Yavin Four is truly awe inspiring.

"I know it's been a while since we've officially met. But I believe it is now time for us to... restart or at least jump start this order. It is NOT dead, contrary to its appearance. All who are present are now considered masters, though they may have training left (which is fine to finish). If anyone thinks they are not ready then there will be nothing held against them if they step down. If anyone thinks another is not ready then please say so. Yet, I do this under great need and prayer has been given. I believe we will need the new masters Quarren and Mere in order to help us train new padawans. Speaking of which each of you are now permitted to train two padawans at a time, as opposed to the previous one-master-one-padawan rule. Training sessions are always open in the training grounds, just remember there is no killing and all fighting is to be done using the light side and not the dark.

"In honor of beginning anew, Kaimelar, will you recite the Christian Jedi Order Code for us?" Ravion smiles.

"Eh, still comfortable. " Quarren responded. He listened patiently, waiting to see what would happen and how. When he heard the news about him and Mere becoming Masters, Quarren was thrilled. And the fact of taking on one more Apprentice. He already had one in mind, and was already thinking of a second one, when Morvaltur recited the code. Listening respectively, he leaned back in the pod, reciting it in his mind> This is what he lived off of..

Mere bowed deeply in acknowedgment at her promotion to the rank of Master. ((After reading through all my posts in the original Jedi Temple thread I figured out I never did actually become a Master)) It has been far too long since I last sat in these chambers and I never did get around to training a Padawan before the time of my sudden departure, though I had my eye on a couple promising younglings. Teaching will probably be a learning experience for me as well as for any Padawan I might take. And I wouldn't mind a little refresher course myself just to make sure I do a good job if the time ever comes for me to teach. "You honor me with your trust, Master Ravion. I will be more than willing to train any Padawan you wish to assign to me to the best of my ability," she murmured before falling silent so as not to interrupt Kaimelar's recitation of the Christian Jedi Order code.

Kaimelar stood, closing his eyes to the distracting view, and begant to intone the words of the great path that he had started on so many years ago.

"There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no death; there is the Force.
Where there is the Force; there is God.
If Christ Would not do it, neither should we,
If Christ is not in it, we should no be in it,
If it does not have a high moral base,
Then its a waste of Cyberspace."

Kaimelar opened his eyes to stare intently at Master Ravion. "Master, I have a question, and it may be trivial and unimportant, but it has been pressing on my mind for some time. Now that you have returned, my Master, do you once again desire to take upon you the mantle of Grand Master?"

Lennkor was certainly amazed by the powerful force-presence, he felt it immediately, but was not familiar with it, as he had come only after Ravion had left. He had looked in many of the archives since then though, and as Ravion stepped in, the young Padawan immediately recognized him. Lennkor was silent, listening with interest to the tale as he did so. As the council members walked out of the room, he sat back a little bit farther in his chair. "Well, this is certainly interesting, all these people coming back to the temple in one day.

((Narm, did you have someone who was going to finish training you?))

Lium sat crosslegged in his room, meditating. He suddenly sensed a presence he hadn't sensed for a very long time. "My master has returned!" Lium said to himself, filling with glee like a child feels on a christmas morning. He stood up and left his room, racing down the halls to locate his master.

((Not to be argumentative, but I honestly think you need to finish the trials. The thread is always open.))

As Kaimelar recited the code that was etched on her heart, Mere half-closed her eyes and let her mind drift as the words called up memories. There is no emotion, there is peace... all those times I swam in the pool down on the lower level, which were almost like meditation for me, replacing emotion with the peace so crucial to being a Jedi. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge... the lessons in the auditorium, always interesting and enlighting to listen to. There is no passion, there is serenity... the serene hours spent in the garden or the room of a thousand fountains doing meditation exercises in order to learn to see the world not just through our human eyes but through the "eyes" of the Force. There is no death, there is the Force... those days in late October and early November when I struggled so hard to hold onto those words in the face of my memories of losing my brother. She felt a wave of nostalgia for the old days, and hoped that they would succeed in restoring some measure of life to the Jedi Order. When Kaimelar proceeded to ask Master Ravion whether he wanted to be Grand Master once again, Mere sat bolt upright, feeling a sudden twinge of guilt for not having paid full attention to the conversation. This was important and required her to focus on the present, not the past. Later there would be time for her to reminisce to her heart's content.
