I would suggest starting with the Gospels. Mark is the shortest Gospel & easy to read.

Greetings brother lost and looking , I concur with my brother pink spider , start being the key word here . John is great
the Spiritual 25 % side of the good news " contend for the belief which was once for all delivered to the set-apart ones." .
Mark was the " first " account recorded & would be my first choice , fast & concise . Matthew is the extended account & covers
much more than Mark , detail wise . Luke has most of all three of other accounts & details miracles & is accredited with being the author of Acts . Acts is the punch line of the four Gospel accounts , the first Assemble of the reborn from the dead .

In reading Scripture it's imperative to understand , there all " versions " & biased to the thinking of the powers that picked up the tab . On top of that , NONE of the early MSS has punctuation marks , to this day . Again , punctuation left to the whims
of the powers paying the bills . Punctuation and malicious intent inadvertently or with motivation , is for me the reason for
differences in translation versions .

One example is ; Luke 23 The Scriptures (ISR 1998)


43 And יהושע said to him, “Truly, I say to you today ( , ) you shall be with Me in Paradise.” ( ISR )

43And he said unto him, Verily I say unto thee ( , ) To-day shalt thou be with me in Paradise. ( ASV )

43Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you ( , ) today you will be with me in paradise.” ( NIV )


The coma before the " today " nullifies Jonah's three days & nights of our Masters prophecy .
Out of ignorance or malice they overlook The Masters Ascension on the 40th day of Omar , as recorded in ;

Acts 1 The Scriptures (ISR 1998)

3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them for forty days, speaking concerning the reign of Elohim.

10 days before ; Acts 2 , the first day of The Assemble of the reborn from the dead .

The first book I would recommend is John chapter 1.

How's it going? As others have posted in here, I love pictures with Bible verses! I think they help the verses come to life when you can see God's Creation too. I hope they have been helping
