But this will be the last comment I make about MB. It's not worth a debate because not knowing where it is located doesn't affect a person's chances of getting rapture.

Mystery Babylon Part 1

One thing people don't realize is why the Antichrist will be invading MS. The OT in numerous numerous scriptures calling the invaders from the north as plunderers. The word plunderer is used around 20 times in prophecies about the tribulation and around 70 times the word plunder is used. It makes perfect sense because in order to finance an army of 200 million, you need a lot of money. Below are a few scriptures about the invasion on Mystery Babylon.

Isaiah 13:16-17 (NKJV)
16 Their children also will be dashed to pieces before their eyes;
Their houses will be plundered And their wives ravished.
17 “Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, Who will not regard silver;
And as for gold, they will not delight in it.​

Isaiah 21:1-9 (NKJV)
1 The burden against the Wilderness of the Sea. As whirlwinds in the South pass through, So it comes from the desert, from a terrible land. 2 A distressing vision is declared to me; The treacherous dealer deals treacherously, And the plunderer plunders. Go up, O Elam! Besiege, O Media!
All its sighing I have made to cease. 3 Therefore my loins are filled with pain;
Pangs have taken hold of me, like the pangs of a woman in labor. I was distressed when I heard it; I was dismayed when I saw it. 4 My heart wavered, fearfulness frightened me; The night for which I longed He turned into fear for me. 5 Prepare the table, Set a watchman in the tower, Eat and drink. Jeremiah 50:8-10 (NKJV)
8 “Move from the midst of Babylon, Go out of the land of the Chaldeans;
And be like the rams before the flocks. 9 For behold, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon An assembly of great nations from the north country, And they shall array themselves against her; From there she shall be captured. Their arrows shall be like those of an expert warrior; None shall return in vain. 10 And Chaldea shall become plunder; All who plunder her shall be satisfied,” says the Lord.​

Jeremiah 51:48-56 (NKJV)
48 Then the heavens and the earth and all that is in them Shall sing joyously over Babylon; For the plunderers shall come to her from the north,” says the Lord. 49 As Babylon has caused the slain of Israel to fall, So at Babylon the slain of all the earth shall fall. 50 You who have escaped the sword, Get away! Do not stand still! Remember the Lord afar off, And let Jerusalem come to your mind. 51 We are ashamed because we have heard reproach. Shame has covered our faces, For strangers have come into the sanctuaries of the Lord’s house. 52 “Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “That I will bring judgment on her carved images, And throughout all her land the wounded shall groan. 53 Though Babylon were to mount up to heaven, And though she were to fortify the height of her strength, Yet from Me plunderers would come to her,” says the Lord. 54 The sound of a cry comes from Babylon, And great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans, 55 Because the Lord is plundering Babylon And silencing her loud voice, Though her waves roar like great waters, And the noise of their voice is uttered, 56 Because the plunderer comes against her, against Babylon, And her mighty men are taken. Every one of their bows is broken; For the Lord is the God of recompense, He will surely repay.​

Now we understand why MB will be invaded. Also notice in the above scriptures, the invasion come from the north? This is important to help identify where MB is located. When people think MB is a city like Moscow, if you look on a map, only Finland, Sweden and Norway is north of Moscow. None of those countries have the ability to defeat Russia. This is something people need to consider.

Revelation 17:1-2 (NKJV)
1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”​

Revelation 17:15 (NKJV) Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.​

Mecca is a city and does not attract a large diversity of people, just Muslims during pilgrimage once a year, mostly Sunnis from the Middle East, non-Muslim are prohibited from entering the city.

From a small oil and trading coastal town, Dubai has turned city with that's a major tourist attraction drawing in visitors from around the world.

Revelation 18:3 (NKJV) For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”​

Revelation 18:7 (NKJV) In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’​

Revelation 18:9 (NKJV) “The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning,​

Mecca is not known as a city of luxury. Dubai has turned into probably the most luxurious city in the world of immense wealth and lavish lifestyle.

Revelation 18:17-18 (NKJV)
17 For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance 18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’​

Mecca has no water surrounding her. There's no shipmaster, sailors or trades on the sea. There's no one photo of water anywhere.

Mecca is not a city that produces oil. Saudi Arabia produces oil but that a country. Is there really sex and prostitution in the Mecca? It's a holy site. Old men kissing a stone is not fornication, that's closer to idolatry.

Dubai produces oil. Before it became a tourist attraction, it was known for it's oil and trade. The lure of money is a huge prostitution business in Dubai because the clients are wealthy individuals. There's a video I posted in an early post.

18 And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. 19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. The largest earthquake ever in the history destroying mountains and islands.

Mecca has no islands. It has the 7 mountains. The mountains is a figurative term John used to describe what he saw but did not know what to call it. Skyscraper was not a word used 2000 years ago.

Dubai is near a major fault-line, and it has islands and mountains that are in close proximity within line of sight of each other.

This is important because John twice describes island and mountains in the same verse. That can only mean they are near each other. Rev 6:14 & Rev 16:20.

Revelation 17:4 (NKJV) The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.​

Revelation 18:16 (NKJV) and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls!​

Mecca is not known as a city of trades involving gold or other precious gems.

Dubai is called the City of Gold. It 's also the leading financial center in the Middle East with a commodity institution.

Mystery Babylon Part 2

The name Mystery Babylon perfectly describes Dubai too. It can't be the old ancient Babylon in Iraq otherwise it won't be called a mystery.

It's Mystery Babylon because it's in the Middle East. The OT said it's in arabia, the desert by the sea ~ Isaiah 21. If MB is in a place like South America, it would have a name associated to it's location and not be called Babylon.

It's a mystery because the "town" of Dubai grew overnight of 30 years into a mega-metroplis.

These are all in Arabia, which is destroyed by Iran “Elam” (Isaiah 21:2)"...



When it comes to the Harlot woman, the Kaaba is a perfect match. The black tarp is considered by Muslims to be a woman’s dress (Kiswa) as Edward Gibbons elaborated:

“…the kuswa of the magnificent Kaaba, is what is used for clothing of a [virtuous] covering, on top of it, it is written, the Kaaba’s dressing, meaning ‘we have dressed her her dress.” [2]

Everything that the harlot is described it fits the Ka’ba; dress, pearls, jewels, gold, silver and even the blasphemies etched in silver threads with golden inlays across her attire. Just the doors of the Ka’ba alone has 280 kilograms of pure gold.

The reference to a prostitute in Revelation 17 regarding the “harlot of Babylon” is no coincidence:

“And the woman (harlot) was arrayed in purple and scarlet color” (v. 17)…

…resembles the near copulating with the Ka’ba’s Black Stone, which historically was dedicated to Aphrodite, the prostitute goddess that was called “Aphrodite inappropriate contente” (Aphrodite the Prostitute), “the goddess adorned in purple”, similar to the depictions given in Revelation 17:4, which the Ka’ba has a scarlet-colored inner garment. John of Damascus notes:

“After the Hajj was preformed by Muhammad, the ‘rubbing and kissing the [of the Black Stone]…was extremely passionate.’”

Muslim tradition even perpetuates the blasphemy that:

“Abraham had sexual intercourse with Hagar on it” (Sahas. Heresy, Pages 88-89).

Francis Burton writes regarding the Ka’ba:

“the part of the cover (Kiswa), covering the door, is called [a Burka] just like the veil the Arabic women are wearing in front of their face…in fact, Arab mystics even compare the Ka’ba to a virgin, adorned with her finest wedding dress.” (Vol 3, page 295)

Even today during their Hajj pilgrimage, Muslims kiss, rub and caress the Black Rock.
Furthermore, it is impossible to even consider that Isaiah 21 was referring to an historic battle between Persia and ancient Babylon since the multiple references throughout are not connected to ancient Iraq but to Kedar, Tema, Dedan and Dumah, which are all in Saudi Arabia near Yathrib (Medina), and today is known as “Dumat el-Jandal.” Dumah, one of the sons of Ishmael, is also associated with Edom and Seir in Isaiah 21:11. It is believed by many that Kedar, Ishmael’s son, is the line from which Muhammad descended.
Even Muslims recognize when they read Isaiah 21, they see Isaiah 21:14-15 as the story of Muhammad when the Muslims emigrated from Mecca to Medina (Tema) in which they were fed and rescued from the sword. No westerner was able to interpret:

“The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled. For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.” (Isaiah 21:14-15)

The Bible depicts that in this time, it will not be like the time when Muhammad fled; all Arabia – including the Glory of Kedar (Mecca) – will be destroyed. How else can anyone interpret:

“No Arab will pitch his tent there, no shepherd will rest his flocks there” (Isaiah 13:20)

Arabs pitch tents in Arabia, not Rome. The ultimate fulfillment of this verse is the destruction of the Last-Days Babylon. We know this because the passage speaks about: “the day of the Lord” (v. 9) with the “heavens not giving light” (v. 10). This is not historical, but End-Times related.
Then we have the Red Sea:

“The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.” (Jeremiah 49:21)

The Red Sea is a geographic indicator as to where the Last-Days Babylon will be located. Look at Mecca on any map and you will see that it sits near the Red Sea. Some may object, saying that Jeremiah 49 is speaking about Edom, which was primarily located in modern day Jordan. Yet, in Ezekiel 25, “Edom” stretches from Teman (Yemen) to Dedan (Saudi Arabia)” (v. 13). Greater Edom included all of the west coast of the Arabian Peninsula.
Notice the description of her destruction:

“‘As Sodom and Gomorrah were overthrown, along with their neighboring towns,’ says the LORD, ‘so no one will live there; no man will dwell in it,’” (Jeremiah 49:18).

It is no surprise that Iran is focused on Saudi Arabia, since the Bible predicted that the harlot is destroyed by the beast she rides, that is, the nations she deceieved with her spiritual harlotry—Islam.

Nothing--absolutely nothing--"needs" to happen in the middle east (like it must in Islam) in order for God to complete the day of judgement of the earth as described in Romans 2 or 2 Pet 3.

I don't know what the Rev is for other than the fortification of Christians who face martyrdom or are grieving that they have lost friends as such. I will NOT be found reading it as though it contained a complete description of everything supposed to happen at the end of time. To do so would be to have completely taken up the Islamic mindset, a system which doesn't even have a Gospel! (Last I checked, the marking doctrine of being a Christian was that of a Gospel).

Meanwhile Shoebat may have very good practical advice about public safety. Just don't go off into pre-written, pre-programmed prophecy absolutes.

In the desert of Arabia, in the city of Mecca, the base is set for the "mother of Harlots", "wickedness".

I used to think he must have claimed making the Nile???, but I have now seen that it has been discovered that there was an ancient canal linking the Red Sea with the Mediterranean [though small, apparently], and that was what the Pharoah boasted of, for in the history book of the Upright/Yasher/Jasher, the king of Egypt is inspired to boast against God:

According to muslims the archangel Gabriel visited muhammed , and from this union the Koran was created. Paul tells us that Satan can become an angel of light if he so chooses and I believe that this is what happened.

They also believe that the comforter spoken of in our bible is referring to Muhammad.

JOHN 15:26: "When the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me."

JOHN 16:7,8: "But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment...."


I am in no doubt that Satan is behind islam and that Mecca is the city that rules the Islamic nations through her religious deception.

Even though Islam (in its current form) won't be the religion of the Antichrist during his future, literal 3.5-year worldwide reign, Islam could be, since the latter half of the 7th century AD, Revelation 17:10's seventh empire (the Antichrist's empire will be a different, still-future, 8th empire: Revelation 17:11). Also, because Islam falsely claims that the anti-gospel Koran came through the angel Gabriel, it is one fulfillment of Galatians 1:8-9 (cf. 2 Corinthians 11:14).

Islam is an anti-gospel religion because, even though it affirms that Jesus is the Christ (e.g. Koran 4:157, Koran 5:17,75), it denies that Jesus is the human/divine Son of God (Koran 9:30, Koran 4:171, Koran 5:72). And it denies that he died on the Cross for our sins (Koran 4:157) and rose physically from the dead on the 3rd day. In order to be saved, people have to believe the gospel that Jesus is both the Christ and the human/divine Son of God (John 3:16,36; 1 John 2:23), and that he died on the Cross for our sins and rose physically from the dead on the 3rd day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Luke 24:39,46,47, Matthew 20:19, Matthew 26:28).

The reason why it is necessary to believe these things in order to be saved is because it was only as the human/divine Son of God that Jesus' suffering during his Passion could satisfy God the Father's justice (Isaiah 53:11), which requires an infinite amount of human suffering for sin (Matthew 25:46).

Jesus' suffering during his Passion was sufficient to forgive the sins of everyone (1 John 2:2), because Jesus isn't just a human, but also God (John 1:1,14, John 10:30, John 20:28). His soul is infinite, and so the suffering of his soul (Isaiah 53:11) was infinite in amount, even though it wasn't infinite in duration. And so his suffering could satisfy God the Father's justice (Isaiah 53:11, KJV; 1 Peter 3:18), which requires an infinite amount of human suffering for sin (Matthew 25:46). Because humans who aren't God have finite souls, for them to suffer an infinite amount for their sins, they must suffer over an infinite duration of time (Matthew 25:46, Revelation 14:10-11, Mark 9:46).

Every human has sinned (Romans 3:23), except Jesus (Hebrews 4:15b; 2 Corinthians 5:21). But because Jesus suffered for sins (1 Peter 3:18, Isaiah 53:11) an infinite amount, when the elect repent from their sins and believe in Jesus' human/divine sacrifice, they can have their past sins forgiven (Romans 3:25-26, Matthew 26:28), while God the Father's justice remains fully satisfied by Jesus' suffering for their sins (Isaiah 53:11, KJV; 1 Peter 3:18).

One way to help Muslims understand how Jesus can be God, from everlasting, is to question them about their understanding of the Muslim belief regarding the Koran. For Islam says that there was no time when the Koran didn't exist in a spiritual form in heaven, that it has always coexisted with Allah as his word. So Christians can show Muslims that the Bible says that before Jesus' incarnation, there was no time when he didn't exist in a spiritual form in heaven. He has always coexisted with God the Father as God the Word (John 1:1,14).

This isn't to suggest that the Muslim claim regarding the Koran is true, or that the book itself is true. Indeed, because (again) Islam falsely claims that the anti-gospel Koran came through the angel Gabriel, it is one fulfillment of Galatians 1:8-9 (cf. 2 Corinthians 11:14).

Why would John write about a present enemy and opposition that was actually 600 years from showing up?

See, God's Word is like that: He tells the end from the beginning.

different, how so? Explain how it was any different than the first generation expecting redemption verse 1st century expecting deceptive enemies- they both thought the prophecy was for them. That first generation turned into 100 still expecting redemption, here we are 2k+ years later with decievers and false christs. The only thing you and others can argue is that we know Christ has came fulfilling that prophecy, you and others presume 70ad events was a fulfillment, because it "fits" with explaining the 70ad events or showing a punishment for rejecting the messiah. Because his disciples asked when shall these things G, many presume Jesus answered them for their knowledge of now and not the forewarning of an actual end time prophecy, end time as in Him descending back down from heaven upon a white horse with His armies to defend Jerusalem and slay all the unrighteous. While it might G that Jesus did answer all 3 portions as they asked, it might G He gave them the answer He wanted them to know and not what they thought they wanted.

You err. The promise was spoken to the Serpent, when by the fall of Adam he and his evil angels got control of the flesh of all earth's creation [Corruption entered] and dominion over the souls who died, to hold them in the "belly of the earth"
...and in the presence of Adam was the promise made of the coming Redeemer.

The Woman is the heavenly Zion of the Spirit, and because of the fall, She became the "barren Widow" and She would not be built up with the Adam creation human being living stones made for the Glory to indwell, as sons of God.

There is a lot of doctrine in Genesis 3 for the foundation of the entire story of the fall and redemption. Regarding Revelation 17:5, note that while the corrupt aspects of Islam are included in what Revelation's symbolic "Babylon" (Revelation chapters 17-18) represents, it represents much more than just the corrupt aspects of Islam. For Islam just by itself doesn't reign over the kings of the earth (Revelation 17:18). Nor is Islam the only religion under which people buy merchandise (Revelation 18:11). Nor is Islam the religion under which all Christian martyrs have been killed (Revelation 18:24). Nor has Islam just by itself corrupted the entire world (Revelation 18:3). Nor has Islam been continuously supported by the empires of fallen man throughout history (Revelation 17:9-10). The beast which comes up out of the earth in Revelation 13:11-16 represents the individual man who will become the Antichrist's False Prophet (Revelation 19:20, Revelation 16:13). He could be a secretly-apostate pope who at some point during his tenure will make a great push for peace and unity between Christianity and Islam. He could say something like: "Why do we fight each other? Are we not all the spiritual children of Abraham and of his God, the one God? Can't we lay aside our foolish, man-made differences of theology, which have done us no good at all, but only brought us hatred and violence, and unite into one religion of Abraham, one religion of peace, based on love for the one God and love for our fellow man? What is more important than this?"

He could be so skillful in elucidating what the moderate Muslims could call "the true, peaceful, loving nature of Islam", that he could be hailed by them worldwide as (in their words) "a Great Imam, come to rescue our beloved Islam from the bad reputation falsely given to it by the terrorists". In this way, a pope could come to hold high positions of power in 2 religions at the same time, which could be symbolized by the 2 horns of the False Prophet lamb (Revelation 13:11). This would be similar to how the 7 horns of the true-Jesus lamb in Revelation 5:6 could represent the true Jesus holding 7 positions of power at the same time (cf. Jesus wearing many crowns at the same time in Revelation 19:12). The False Prophet could even say that he is Jesus. (But he won't say that he is Christ, for the False Prophet and the Antichrist will deny that Jesus is the Christ, and will deny that Christ is in the flesh: 1 John 2:22; 2 John 1:7.)

Once the False Prophet by his amazing miracles has brought the world under his spell (Revelation 13:13-18, Revelation 19:20), including many Muslims and Christians who may not care much for scriptural dogma, but could go wild over his signs and wonders, he could begin to (in his words) "restore to the world the real message which was spoken by me (Jesus) at my first coming, and by the great prophet Mohammed, but which message became corrupted by power-hungry men when they copied and changed the early manuscripts of the Bible and the Koran". He could then gradually initiate the world into the Antichrist's Gnostic Luciferianism (1 John 4:3, Revelation 13:4-6), a religion which could have existed since ancient times in some "mystery" cults, and which still exists today in the highest degree of initiation of a worldwide secret society. The False Prophet could present his miraculously calling fire down from heaven (Revelation 13:13) as purported proof that Lucifer (the dragon, Satan) and the Antichrist are the true God (Revelation 13:4-8, Revelation 12:9), in an inversion of how back in Old Testament times, Elijah miraculously called fire down from heaven to prove that YHWH is the true God (1 Kings 18:37-39).

If a secretly-apostate pope does become the Antichrist's False Prophet (of Revelation 13:11-16, Revelation 19:20, and Revelation 16:13), adherents of Catholicism will have to decide what their ultimate source of truth is: Is it the pope and the RCC, or God and the Bible? Many adherents of Catholicism who know God and the Bible well and hold to them as their ultimate source of truth will no doubt be utterly aghast at the false doctrines of a False Prophet pope. Such adherents of Catholicism could demand that he be removed for heresy and apostasy, and that the cardinals elect a new pope. But other adherents of Catholicism, including many cardinals, bishops, and priests, could be deceived (along with most of the rest of the world) into believing the False Prophet pope's false doctrines, because of his ability to perform the most amazing miracles (Revelation 13:13-14, Revelation 19:20; cf. Matthew 24:24).

And so a great schism could arise within the RCC. Compare the Akita prophecy: "The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops". Many adherents of Catholicism could follow the False Prophet pope, while other adherents of Catholicism could reject him and eventually even elect their own, new pope (or reinstall a former pope who is still alive), whom they could declare to be the "True pope". But this new (or reinstated), "True pope" could then be murdered, along with many of his followers, by the False Prophet pope's soldiers. Compare the 3rd Secret of Fatima: "he [the pope] was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions". Could the soldiers firing "arrows" be the Vatican's Swiss Guards, whose weapons and colorful uniforms hark back to the Middle Ages?

After this slaughter, the False Prophet pope could manage to retain the papacy and full control of the Vatican, and through his (deceived) cardinals, bishops, and priests, retain full control of all RCC cathedrals, parishes, churches, etc., throughout the world. And when the Antichrist (the individual-man aspect of Revelation's "beast") obtains power over all nations, he and the False Prophet will make war against true, Biblical Christians (whether they are adherents of Catholicism or not) throughout the world, and will physically overcome them and kill them (by beheading) in every nation (Revelation 13:7-10, Revelation 14:12-13, Revelation 20:4-6, Matthew 24:9-13).

It is only when the Antichrist has completely broken all the physical power of the true church (which consists of all true believers, whether they are adherents of Catholicism or not: Ephesians 4:4-6) that the future tribulation will end (Daniel 12:7b) and Jesus' 2nd coming will immediately occur, at which time he will physically resurrect and rapture (gather together) the church (Matthew 24:29-31; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8, Revelation 19:7 to 20:6). At his 2nd coming, Jesus will tread the winepress of God's wrath alone (Isaiah 63:3, Revelation 19:15-21), and so he/God will get all the glory for defeating the power of evil on the earth (Deuteronomy 32:39-43), for he/God won't share this glory with the church (cf. Isaiah 42:8-14, Isaiah 26:18).

Back to the subject of this OP, instead of the rambling opinions of "it could be such and such" hijackings of this thread, which opinions are devoid of absolute Bible prophecy statements, as Walid Shoebat shows us "will be", according to what is written in God's Word.....
Shoebat has been telling it for years that God's Word shows that Elam [now the base of Nuke facilities in Iran], will rise up against the "mystery Babylon's home base" and nuke her, and that home base [which was to come and is come, as is shown Zechariah 5], is Mecca, in Arabia's desert, where Riyadi is the Capital city of the Harlot's entrenchment.
So Iran is getting the Nuke, and is behind the invasion of Yemen, which is in full force and is continuing to go on now, [Yemen is Teman, in the Word of God], and Saudi Arabia and 19 other Islamic nations just launched full scale war on the Iranian backed Houthi's who deposed the king of Yemen.
