I would imagine, many Christians said the same thing about accepting evolution, as well.
I sure have seen that attitude plenty, especially on these forums from YECrs.
Some people will pull the "No True Christian" Card when it comes to referring to Christians who accept evolution.
But like evolution, Homosexuality is just one of the many things that Christians disagree with each other one. There is a pretty big list. And with that list, comes other things beyond evolution and homosexuality, that some Christians would say a real christian could not accept.
And I don't think having a belief that the Bible is not against the modern concept of homosexuality and loving SS couples, means that they are false Christians.
Being a Christian does not mean someone is perfect, and has to be right 100% in the beliefs he or she has. People can have wrong beliefs and still be Christians. None of us are perfect.
