There is a precious promise in this verse:

"For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly." ~Psalms 84:11

the second part of the verse, about "the arm of the Lord" being revealed is phenomenal.....

What a beautiful reminder and sure promise:

"In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul." ~Psalm 138:3

This verse reminds me of a book that i keep forgetting to buy...it's a book i would love to read and absorb and study in examination of how precious and GOOD a Shepherd we have. The book is called "Hind's Feet On High Places":

"The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places." ~Habakkuk 3:19

*this was a timely verse and post...it just reminded me to buy this precious book, and i just did, praise God!)

It's precious how God DOES fill us with ALL these GOOD things, praise His name!!!!

"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." ~Romans 15:13

Isn't this precious? God tells us to "stand strong" even if we're really scared. Reminds me of this verse: Be still and know that I am God, and the verse about the battle belongs to the Lord.

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest." ~Joshua 1:9

Praise God!!! One of my most fav'rite words = "unction"...it's used right here in this glorious verse, praise God!!!!

"But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things." ~1 John 2:20

This woman had GUMPTION, and was commended by Jesus Himself for it. She was sooooooo desperate for His touch, for she KNEW He COULD heal her. She was at the end of her rope. Nothing had helped. She was desperate beyond words. And so she "went for it", and BOLDLY, bless her heart, and look at Jesus' response:

"And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace." ~Luke 8:43-48

How precious is THAT?

God is GOOD! His promises never fade or change, amen!

"The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him." ~Nahum 1:7
