I noticed things in general had slowed down, but I've been working for a couple of weeks now, so not much time in here.

I'm glad he bumped it.

It's too COLD here today to do anything - I'm ready for spring!

It's cold and snowy here in Denver and I'm sick so it's time for bedrest and tv marathons

After 2 1/2 years of a problem, that's just been reconciled - and so I'm considering returning as an active poster. Just snooping a bit for now..... trying to get up-to-speed with a community that (of course) has changed considerably. And seeing if it's a good fit.

Yup, I'm sick too, but being bad-tempered about it, lol. I want to be doing something. Mostly because bed rest gives me a sore back, lol. And my house is a bit of a mess and Father is coming to visit in a few days.

I think the house is hopeless though. My daughter stopped midway through moving her stuff out, and since it freezes every night I have to keep dragging the plants inside, which makes a mess.

The TV marathon is sounding better, lol.

Still I can't complain. Much better than last year, which was downright freakish.

Thanks, I'm seriously hoping this is just allergies. I woke up yesterday coughing so hard that my throat fills like sandpaper and my nose is completely stopped up

Welcome to Bipolar Colorado where it was 70 degrees yesterday and now we have 8 inches of snow on the ground lol

You're welcome. I know how bad being sick can get. It can drain you both physically and emotionally.

I am most impressed with how eccentric is the theology of a street preacher named Kerrigan Skelly. It's amazing.

Thanks again for the prayers! I am finally reasonably well myself, and went back to work yesterday. Being bedridden has led to some more complications, but perhaps it can be a blessing physically if I get some answers, and I'm actually finding it a blessing spiritually, and at a very opportune time. I have been repeatedly told that the value of fasting is to remind us of our dependence on God. Right now that is very much my focus naturally, so perhaps I've been given a great spiritual blessing.

I'm looking forward to attending Liturgy again. This Saturday is the last Saturday of souls, so perhaps then, and if not, God willing, Sunday. Otherwise I have to wonder if I'm excommunicating myself (I don't think so though because I was sick) but our traveling Confessor comes next Tuesday, and if there is time I plan to speak with him.
