Aborted babies will automatically go to heaven.

By what basis do you say this? Is this the same basis used when judging people who did get born? Explain how.

I find it is important to be consistent which is why i ask.

At the end of 2nd Samuel 12, after the first baby born to King David and Bathsheba died, David said this:
"I will go to him, but he will not return to me.” 2 Samuel 12:23b
I believe this narrative is the only thing we have in the Bible that speaks even somewhat directly to this issue.

The RCC used to teach about a place they called "Limbo" which is neither Hell nor Heaven. Rather, it was a place where children such as these would end up. You'd have to ask a knowledgeable RC, but I think "Limbo" is one of those RC doctrines that is quickly being done away with.

David understood his sinfulness and our sin nature (see Psalm 51:5 below), yet he clearly believed he would be reunited with his son in Heaven.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Yours and His,
David

"Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful
from the time my mother conceived me"

i think most of our concepts of God are completely wrong, including any thought that the supreme Creator of all things would punish a baby or unborn child for the sins of the parents.

If you can't see that, then...

So are you saying it is better people die in the womb than to see the evil that is done under the sun? what is the good news for those who were unlucky enough to be born?
.
these are questions that came to mind when I read this response .
.
since the orthodox belief (in an evangelical protestant sense) leads to the idea of eternal torment for those living and the bible speaks of a God being impartial in his decision making .. looking on either side of it it's like .. why didn't God just end humanity from the beginning .. so all could be in his presence?
.
i appreciate the dialogue .

Nothing scriptural just common sense. Babies cannot repent of sin and cannot accept Christ. That's my understanding of it. I'm sure say a catholic would believe different since they baptize infants because they believe it's what literally saves us.

If you do not change your stance on sin, because you are not conscious of it, then when death takes you from it, you are automatically glad that it is going or gone (selah)

It is only when man has become conscious of his sin, and has begun to regret its passing, that he becomes a sinner, who doesn't want to die (selah)

All have fallen short.
All.
How many is all?
Does it include the baby 1 second after birth?
Does it include the baby 1 second before birth?
Its ALL.

That means Heaven is not as great for the baby

but it does not mean it is not Heaven (at all)
