The Lords fiery judgement on the Middle East:
Isaiah 29:1-2 Woe to you Ariel! Ariel, the city where David settled. The years roll on and you carry out your festivals. Yet, I shall reduce Ariel to dire straits. There will be suffering and sorrow, when I make her My fire altar.
Ariel – is a pun on the Hebrew word, ‘har’el’ = the Temple burnt offering altar. In this prophecy, it refers to Jerusalem and all the State of Israel. Ezekiel 21:1-7, Isaiah 22:1-14, Amos 2:4-5

Isaiah 29:3-4 I will encompass you and besiege you with the visitation of My fiery judgement. You will be brought low, you will hide underground, your voice will whisper out of the earth.
The Lord’s judgement/punishment of the nations, by fire from God’s storehouse: Deut. 32:22,34-35,41-43, will be a huge explosion of the sun, Isaiah 30:26a, Isaiah 66:15-16, Malachi 4:1, Hebrews 10:27, 2 Peter 3:7, Revelation 6:12-17
Joel 2:1-11 Sound the alarm! For the Day of the Lord’s wrath is coming. As the sun rises, a vast host will appear, the like has never been known. It advances in a devouring fire, behind is a leaping flame that leaves a desolate wasteland. Nothing can escape it, nothing can stop it and as it strikes, the earth quakes and the heavens thunder. Who can survive that dark and terrible Day?
The survivors in Jerusalem will shelter in underground bunkers. Isaiah 31:5, Isaiah 6:13, Isaiah 37:31-32

Isaiah 29:5-8 But, your enemies will become like dust, those ruthless hordes, like blown chaff. Suddenly, in an instant, punishment will come from the Lord Almighty, with earthquakes, thunder, storms and a blaze of devouring fire. All the nations warring against Mt Zion, will vanish, as a dream, like one who is hungry or thirsty; then wakes to find himself empty, so it will be with all those nations attacking Israel. Malachi 4:3
The fire judgement on the Middle East, striking ‘in an instant’, will be a Coronal Mass Ejection: a sunstrike of unprecedented magnitude and is the next prophesied event we can expect, it is the Day that will ‘come as a thief’, sudden and unexpectedly. Zechariah 3:9, Isaiah 10:17 It is quite a different event to what is described about the attack and destruction of Gog or of Armageddon, both to come later, respectively.
Psalm 83:13-18, Isaiah 34:5, Isaiah 30:25-28 & 30, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Zephaniah 1:14-18,

The regeneration of the Middle East: Isaiah 35, Ezekiel 36:8-12, Amos 9:13-15
Isaiah 29:17-21 In a very short time, the Land will be made prosperous again. On that Day, the deaf will hear and the blind will see and the lowly and poor will exult in the Holy One of Israel. The ruthless and evil peoples will be gone, all who practise falsehood will be cut down. Isaiah 66:12-14, Psalm 107:1-43, Jeremiah 33:12-13
Isaiah 29:22-23 Therefore, these are the words of the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, about the House of Jacob: [all 12 tribes of Israel] This is no time for you to be ashamed, no time to be frightened, for his descendants will praise My Name, when they see what I have done for them. They will stand in awe of the Holy God of Israel. Reference: REB, NIV. Some verses condensed.

Righteous Israel, all those whose names are written in the Book, Malachi 3:16-18, be they descendants of Jacob or grafted in, will be gathered into the Land, ”in a very short time” after the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath against the nations Ezekiel 20: 34-38, Isaiah 11:11-12, Jeremiah 30:18-24, Rev 7:9

All the prophecy you referenced was fulfilled long ago. We are living in the days of Revelation 20, with Satan already released and deceiving the whole world. His primary targets are the Church (the "beloved city") and the Holy Temple (the "camp of the saints.")

A definitive statement unsupported by the Bible or history, then to make out Jesus has Returned, Rev 19:11-21, the church is 'Jerusalem' and the Temple is the 'saints', is extreme misapplication of scripture.
What I point out in the OP, is something that even secular scientists say is more of a probability that a possibility. To discount unfulfilled prophecy as of no worth for us today, is a serious error and simply leaves you 'in the dark'.

Vinsight4u, your view of end times events differs from the sequence as given in Revelation. The Seals must come first, before the Scroll can be unrolled.
Note that the Sixth Seal IS the Day of Wrath of Almighty God and the Lamb. Rev 6:17 Placing that Day at the Return, as per Rev 19:11-21, Matthew 24:30, Zechariah 14:3-5, is wrong and does not fit what happens then.
The Sixth Seal, worldwide judgement/punishment of the nations, well described by Isaiah 29 and over 100 other prophesies, will be the sudden and terrifying devastation by fire of all the Middle East and will be the event that enables the establishment of a One World Government.
The Lord won't be seen this time, Psalm 18:11, Hab 3:4, but He will be 'revealed to His own people', 2 Thess. 1:6-10. Who will go to live in all of the Holy Land. Rev 7:9
After all that must happen, Jesus will Return and bring the rewards for everyone who has maintained their faith, with Him.

I simply read the scripture in context, Keras, giving more weight to time contexts that the figurative language usually presented for the events themselves. That, in a nutshell, is what sets us apart.

You should try it; especially with the time contexts provided throughout the New Testament for the Church and the Temple. You will be surprised at how far-off the mark your interpretations are, and have been.

God's plan for the middle east is to divide Jerusalem three ways.

Jerusalem is mentioned in the Bible hundreds of times. It, and all the Holy Land is precious in His sight. Isaiah 52:1
To think that God intends Muslims and apostate, atheistic Jews to continue to share in and pollute His Holy city, is a mistake. Zechariah 14:8-21, Eze. 15:6-8

Vinsight4u, you don't explain how a scroll can be read before it is unsealed.
That the Day of the Lord's wrath happens at the Sixth seal is irrefutable. So to shuffle the given chronological sequence of the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls is an error and only leads to confusion.

Rev20, you would have us as ignorant and unaware of God's plans as the 1st century Jews were of Jesus' first Advent. They had Isaiah 53 and failed to comprehend it. Are we, who study the scriptures, also to not understand what must happen?

Keras, all Christians need to know is that they should love one another. Everthing else is speculation. If end-time prophecies were not based on pure speculation, there would not be a zillion different interpretations! The speculators (e.g., the so-called prophecy experts) of today are no better equipped to interpret prophecy than the Jews of the first century, and they were clueless (and still are.)

If you really must know about the future of Jerusalem, you must get it from the New Testament. And the New Testament makes no bones about it:

1) The Jerusalem below was the city of bondage (of Satan,) and had to be destroyed. The children of the bondwoman were not to be heirs with the children of the freewoman.

2) The Jerusalem from above is free, and is forever the true Jerusalem in the eyes of God. It is also the home of the angels, the apostles, the saints, and Jesus Christ himself. It is also called the Church, and will forever bless the children on earth, from one generation to the next.
There are no other Jerusalems in the scripture.

Agreed that love is the first requirement, that doesn't mean nothing else matters.
Bible prophecy is meant to be read, only by believing false theories and fanciful notions, does confusion result. Also God sealed up the prophesies until the latter days, Daniel 12:4 but then [now] a few WILL understand. Obviously you are not in line to be one of them.

The NT talks about many things in a spiritual way. Does that negate all the references, OT and NT about a physical city, on earth? Eventually to be replaced by a New Jerusalem. Rev. 21:2

So, who do we believe, Keras? There are a "zillion" different interpretations of prophecy, and all of those "interpreters" pretend they know the truth. LOL!

No, thanks. I will stick to the plain instructions of Christ when it comes to thinking the interpretation of prophecy can save a person:

"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life." -- John 5:39-40 KJV

Don't get me wrong, Keras. I do believe that the interpretation of prophecy will have a bearing on whether one is saved, or not. But negatively. I believe all those who have been falsely teaching others will have a lot of explaining to do when all our knees bow before Christ.

Those who simply follow the law of the Lord (Matt 7:12) will have nothing to worry about.

What we should believe is the plain, literal Prophetic Word. Obvious allegories and metaphors aren't difficult to figure out, either.
Prophecy isn't intended for salvation, Jesus provided that, but by the large volume of prophecy in the Bible, it cannot be right to ignore it.

Yes, James 3:1 makes it clear, those who promote false theories OR attempt to negate and denigrate what is written, will face a severer judgement.

We are now fighting the Battle of Ar Mageddon which began on 9/11 when the Euphrates was dry. It will end when Jerusalem is split three ways as prophesied.

Proof, please:
1/ that the Euphrates totally dried up around 9/11.
2/ Quote the prophecy that says J,lem will be split 3 ways.
3/ Your proof that Rev. 16:16 is now happening 'at the place called Armageddon'.

Thanks,

That seem to fit what will happen AFTER the Millennium

Revelation 20

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

No fire devastating the Middle Est at the Sixth Seal
Genesis 6
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...+6&version=KJV

12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;
and every mountain and island were moved out of their places

A thick cosmic cloud of space dust between the Earth and the Sun in a collision course with the Earth can explain the celestial events of the 6 Th seal ....

During the day the thick cosmic space dust cloud between the Sun and the Earth will cause the Sun to became black as a sackcloth of hair.Like an eclipse.
the sun became black as sackcloth of hair,

At Night it will produce a Lunar eclipse
the moon became as blood;

The thick cloud of space dust colliding with the Earth will cause a very spectacular shooting stars observation ....

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

at the same time a shock front caused by the impact of the thick space dust cloud colliding with the Earth will cause the upper atmosphere of the Earth to roll like a scroll.

The massive earthquake mentioned in verse 12 explain why

will be the event that enables the establishment of a One World Government.
The massive worldwide Earthquake of the 6 th seal will affect all the electric power supply of the cities Worldwide. Add to that the destruction of the infrastructures and water facilities in all the cities of the World. That will be effectively following those years of crisis ,under martial law that the One World Government will emerge. The World will be divided into 10 Kingdom administrated by 10 "Kings" under the authority of the Antichrist.
That's right...
Immediately after the tribulation of those days.

Matthew 24:29-31
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
