What about all the parents who are divorced, have debt, or done one of the many other things that are sinful. If they refused to admit any child whose parents had sinned, they'd have an empty school.

It's not a matter of sinning (ALL sin).

Its's a matter of unrepentant sinning. Two men who are in a homosexual "relationship" are clearly not repentant of their acts.

Is anyone surprised? I'm not. Private schools, especially religious ones, have standards that public schools don't..

Exactly If it's a "Private" "Christian" School then they have setup rules and go by their Christian values and beliefs so they are not going to break them otherwise what would be the point? Dunno what they were expecting. Just go to public school

I agree wholeheartedly. Also debt isn't comparable aanyway. Some people are unable to avoid getting into debt just so they can eat and clothe themselves. I'm not talking about frivolous debt on luxury items of course. But a person can have a bad credit rating or history of debt for respectable reasons eg business failure, medical bills etc

The two dads couldn't make news headlines and get attention by simply sending their kids to any school that didn't have that policy. It was clear and public knowledge that the school had the clause that prohibits those two men from enrolling their children. This was a deliberate attention grabbing stunt by the two homosexual dads; one of which is a pastor of his own gay friendly church with plans to start their own school.

The children we pawns, pure and simple.

On the bright side, the children have learned a useful lesson from all this -- if they hadn't been "used" thus, they'd never learned how many doors are closed to them because of their family situation... certain schools, certain churches, certain Gods....

Certain schools yes. Sadly, certain churches. But God? No. God loves them and longs for them to repent so they can spend eternity in Heaven with Him.

I think also most churches allow gay couples to attend. They just won't marry them or allow them roles in leadership. But Christians who drink and commit adultery are Biblically also not allowed to lead. Its not just gays

I thought repenting for someone else's sin was covered by Jesus...

In any event, the school sent these kids a message based on their Christian values... I have little doubt that the message was received loud and clear, and will be remembered for the rest of their lives as adults.

You probably doubt wrong; at their age they didn't get the message you think they did. Those kids will grow up, they are only 3 years old and 8 months old FYI, and if they look back and read what happened, they will figure out how their dads lied and used them to make a statement. Let's hope they don't have other instances of similar behavior from their dads as they grow up.

Don't like the school and their policies,
Who says the dads didn't like the school or their policies, at least before this rejection letter came?

why would you want to send your child/children there?
Maybe because one of the dads is the pastor of Covenant of the Cross Church and they wanted their children to have a Christian education?

People looking for attention, for their cause.
Absolutely no evidence for this.

Why would any self respecting Gay person try send their kid to a place that reject their life style? Gay people should run away from Christian Churches, not mingle with them.
One of the dads is the pastor of a Christian church.

If the school accepted them, they would just tell your kids how homosexuals are abomination and bad.
Do you really believe that Christian schools say these kinds of things to little kids?

Because they want attention, for themselves and/or for their cause. They are not doing this for their child, they are doing it for themselves.
This is the second time you have made this claim. What is your supporting evidence?

First, do you think they're going to read about this instead of hearing it from their dads?

Second, is it better that they hate and resent their dads for trying to put them somewhere where they weren't welcome?

Pretty much this ^
Pretty much unsupported speculation?

Why does someone go to a school they know completely opposes their lifestyle....and make a scene?
Do you think all Christian schools and churches oppose homosexuality?

Answer: to make a scene.
Unsupported assertion.

These people will not be satisfied until everyone bows to them in affirmation.
Unsupported assertion.

As should their children.

If the school accepted them, they would just tell your kids how homosexuals are abomination and bad.

And when the other students joined in, the school would have to discipline them for "bullying," while explaining how it's only acceptable when the school itself does it...

Read the thread; the school was open about its opposition to homosexual acts.

Unsupported assertion.

No, obvious to anyone (from their declarations and behaviour) not trying to play gollum.

Unsupported assertion.

Same again.

"Copeland and his husband Greg Bullard, a pastor"

Yup, no agenda there then.
What agenda do you see there? Is it the fact that it is two men? If so does an opposite sex couple also have that as part of their agenda?

Is it the agenda of a pastor? What agenda is that, exactly?

Yup.

Again, just people wanting attention for themselves and/or their cause.

They investigated! Sure, clearly not very well. They don't care about the beliefs taught or policies, they just want their kid to go there because it is such a better school... sure they do...

Sorry, don't believe it.
You don't believe it based on your prejudice against gay people, not based on any evidence.
