Other false "facts" you might believe in:

"Fingernails and hair keep growing after you die."

"Eating less than an hour before swimming increases your risk of muscle cramps and drowning."

"Cracking knuckles causes arthritis."

"Slaves built the pyramids."

"Fortune cookies are a Chinese tradition."

"The Great Wall of China is the only man-made object visible from space."

"People thought the world was flat before Christopher Columbus."

Interesting. If the soul is connected to both brains, does it do decisions twice? And why different decisions if the soul is one and the same?

The previous posters are considering your question scientifically, but the question this man raised is very close to a question that crossed my mind recently too. Since we have natures of light and dark, wanting to do good and evil, Christians who often behave with no fruits of The Holy Spirit, non-Christians who do demonstrate fruits of The Holy Spirit, Christians and non-Christians who demonstrate and don't demonstrate at various phases of their life, fruits of The Holy Spirit, then what is the answer to this man's question based on judgement of character (since salvation appears to be based on the judgement of character). It confuses me to think about this, since there is probably nobody who is all of the light or all of the darkness, although we can develop a preference either way.

The marvelous and amazing thing about human beings is that we are "multi-task" beings... We can enjoy the aesthetics of a sunset while we are estimating how long it takes the sun to set... We can solve a problem and thrill to great beautiful and spiritual power simultaneously.... We are more than the sum of our parts...
