This second beast will make an image to the beast and enforce the receiving of the mark. Infact for Islam 666 is a holy number and the Quran is 666 and Allah is 666. This will happen once the truth comes out that the creation of the Islamic religion was masterminded by the Mother of harlots, the Roman Church then all the world will follow after the beast and they will worship the Dragon/Satan which gave his power to the Beast and oh yes in that time, the Kaaba stone will go to Jerusalem to be with the foundation stone, the Dome of the Rock. The Jews will be happy because temple worship will be reinstated and the ark of the covenant known in the old sanctuary service will most probably be the Kaaba stone. The three Abrahamic religions, Jews, Muslims and Roman Catholic Christians will rebuild Babylon in Jerusalem with a temple (a roman catholic church, a mosque and the wailing wall is the current set up where the temple was. The true Christians will be persecuted like never before. 144 000 of the messianic Jews will be saved and sealed showing that God is true and that He kept His covenant with the Jews. As they rebuild Babylon, it will be a matter of time then the three angels messages sounds. Babylon has fallen, has fallen and has become the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit and the cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Then Jesus comes and the 3 fall feasts are fulfilled.

Interesting. I don't know if I agree with all of it, but I definitely find this interesting.

By the Spirit, so what's your view especially concerning the Islamic tribulation? How do you see it fitting in in end time prophecy?

Militant Islam is a dangerous threat whether we can see it in a passage or not; it hardly matters. And the real issues will only be lost by finding one or two parts that "don't fit."

Yes, people can abuse having degrees. But if you spend any time in NT background you will find that a key question is sorting out how Luke-Acts relates to the Jewish War. It is profound, substantial, engrossing, stunning. The people I studied under are those who Eerdmann's published as the New Int'l Commentary series.

I have spoke at public meetings on the danger of Islam; I'm aware of the depth of the problem. But poking around in the Rev for "answers" about it is a disaster waiting to happen and diffuses the power of Scripture. In such a case, this is exactly where I should be.

Can you Point me to which current events you believe are the fulfillment of Matt 24, Daniel and Revelation?

I suppose the last days is a long period of time because our Heavenly Father is long suffering or maybe suffering long for His creation.

The Last Days were unquestionably underway in the 1st century, during Christ's earthly ministry:

Hebrews 1:1-2
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

It is close, even at the doors.

So Said James, writing INFALLIBLY, under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, 1900+ years ago:

James 5:8-9

8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near. 9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned.[c] Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!

Are you claiming to know something James, while writing INFALLIBLY under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, did not know?

The apostles only had the old testament writings at that time and we have both the old and the new being fulfilled.

The apostles had DIVINE Inspiration, and wrote infallibly about these things.

Can you say that about yourself, or anyone today for that matter?

I know some would say that the signs in Matthew wasthere for a long time but frequency and intensity should also be noted. False prophets and False Christs, so many of them today - Jose lois De Jesus, Matreya followers tattooing 666 in their bodies. Wars and rumors of wars - the 20th century was the bloodiest ever, 170 million killed in WorldWar 1 and 70 million in WorldWar 2. $650 billion US dollars are spend a year on the military. The war in Iraq costs $436 billion dollars. Famines, - Sudan, Pakistan, etc. Pestilences, HIV/Aids, Ebola etc. Earthquakes frequency and intensity- in 2004 - 284 000 people killed. Global warming - earth hottest its been in 400 years or more. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water. Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgement and perdition of ungodly men. But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Even if 1 day is as a thousand years, no human lives that long so in essence in our 70 and 80 years or more lifespans, we will see how life changes and may also end up with the conclusion that it is the end of time, the last days, even our time/last days.

What I was trying to say with the Old and New testament is that if at the time the apostles considered it the end times while only having the Old testament, God knew that His word/ the Bible would consists of the Old and the New Testament so it could not be the end yet. I might not be writing infallibly or declare to have divine Inspiration but I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour and have the Holy Spirit of promise, the Comforter that Jesus has given to us.

2Thes2 is Paul, and Paul has predefined what the "temple of God is" for us three or more times before he mentions it again in 2Thes2.

I wonder why people won't accept what the pre-definition is?
Why do folks want to turn it back into a literal brick and mortar building?

search Paul's words about the temple...
it WAS a 'thing" but now it is not. It is us who believe...

so what kind of temple should you be?

Those of us who consider ourselves Christian are going to end up being like one of the two sons in the prodigal son parable.

I think it's the "trib" that will be the litmus test...
some of "us" will "harlot" after the antiChrist,
just as the remnant of Israel always whored after "other gods" at some point.

The 10 northern tribes strayed, then Judah (and Ben) strayed...
It's a pattern, and we know about patterns in His word right?

Some of us won't stray, God has already preordained who is who...
I think we'd have to be prepared (with the truth/true interp) to be considered tho.
And sites like this are a good way to get started learning.
