I used to play xbox and ps games for the last couple of years but I grew weary of them more and more.

For a very long time I couldnt decide which console to buy, sometimes I leaned towards xbox sometimes towards ps4.

Then I realized that the games didnt really make me feel good (at least most of them that I played) and that its gonna be the same on either platform.

Finally I bought myself a wii u and a 2ds in december and that was the best decision IMHO. the games are very relaxing!!!

I even got annoyed when thinking about ps3 or x360 games. Thought about selling the xbox 360 (ps3 will be used as a bluray player). Wasnt sure about it. Yesterday I checked out Skyrim, it kinda confirmed me that these times are over and put it on the net. Gonna sell it this week.

I am not implying that everyone should do the same. One or two years back I would have laughed anyone in the face if they told me that its not good for me. Today I realized that, maybe I have outgrown it, but I feel like I dont need that anymore.

Certainly no new-gen console for me...

I am still kinda surprised how my attitude changed towards nintendo games... they just make feel good, compared to the often tense atmosphere of other different games... not saying that its bad in general, people just should ask themselves if its really worth the money and if what they get deserves their time,

I think that playing video games is a bad thing. Gaming is not a type of activity that gives any support to our everyday lives, and all these consoles are just consuming electricity! Let's say we have about three billion people on this planet wasting their time, bringing no productivity at all. Add 10 billion more people, and what would happen to our planet? Video games are assisting the death of our planet!

The reality is you posting on this site is doing the same thing you're complaining about. The reality is what you're speaking about is culture that promotes a lot of work and typically very little money. You see what the wealthy do is work hard and play even harder only the 99% of Americans believe that everything they do should be productive the other 1% waste their time.

The reality is its not even biblical. God wants you to have fun

For me I think I need a little time to decompress I have a lot of things going on and not to mention all of the hats I have on. Me turning on a video game and laying back just blank minded can be pretty cool to me. The sometimes intense atmosphere keeps my focus way more than a television show(which most are horrible) or a movie(typically graphic). I would say for me it's definitely worth it even if it's 30 mins before bed that's a warm bath for me. I think that's what it should be used for s way to relax if tv isn't really your thing.

I read like a 1000 pages a week, I write to much, I work to hard in my community, I have one old and two new business ventures, school is cut throat so yeah I like the video game.

I think it might have been a waste of your time and money maybe because you weren't at a position to play it or you weren't where you wanted to be but I know doctors and lawyers that will play video games for the same reason I do.

It's not that serious
