Hunters of faults are on every forum that I have visited so far.
It's like who can we bash next.
Eat the hay and spit out the sticks on anybodys preaching.
Too busy sweeping my porch to gaze at my neighbors.
I see your point,but, we are to be diligent, we are to test the spirits
1 John 4 English Standard Version (ESV)
Test the Spirits
4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. 4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
We are to judge fruit;
Matthew 7:15-20New King James Version (NKJV)
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
There is misunderstanding by many on judging, there is the judging that is like judging fruit, which is simple discernment, and judging by which you "cast judgement" deciding if one wins or loses, if you will. A good example is this:
You go to a county fair, and visit the livestock show, there the judges are looking to see if each class of animal "fits" its specific breeds standards. This is where we as a church should be, just making sure that we are, who we say we are.
Then there is american idolatry, as I call it. Where the judges deem if you are "good enough" if "they think you pass"
What is one of the biggest differences between the two? Well for starters livestock judges have a book, that has the standards written in them, SET STANDARDS, that are written, to be followed. Where as american idolatry has chosen some folks, it deems "worthy" of choosing. Second american idolatry places judgement on its victims.
