In this season of the birth of our King Jesus, do you believe His Kingdom will come on earth? St Louis firmly believed that Christ's Kingdom Come is not just for the here after but will come into existence in the world also.

What do you think? Will Jesus Rule, as King of the world, on earth, in apocalyptic times?

ST. LOUIS DE MONTFORT, END TIMES

divine intervention within salvation history.

This intermediary stage is the most dynamic and active, because during this stage we pass from the reign of sin to the reign of Jesus Christ in the hearts of men and women. Montfort is convinced that the Kingdom of God in Jesus Christ should not be projected into the hereafter but must come into existence on earth, in this world: "Is it not true that your kingdom must come?" (PM 5). This is the leitmotif of TD from its first sentence: "It was through the blessed Virgin Mary that Jesus Christ came into the world, and it is also through her that he must reign in the world" (TD 1; cf. 13, 22, 49, 157, 217, 262). Who will be able to transform the world? For Montfort there is no doubt: God alone can accomplish such a task. He will intervene with "a deluge of fire, love and justice" through the mediation of the Spirit and the manifold acts of Mary (PM 13, 15, 24-25; TD 49-56). This divine intervention will be through and in mankind, especially through the "apostles of the end times" (TD 58). Their task will be twofold: " destroying sin and setting up the kingdom of Jesus" (SM 59)....
...The work of the apostles of the end times swings essentially around two poles, one negative, the other positive: "destroying sin and establishing the reign of Jesus Christ" (SM 59). The first pole involves a series of aggressive actions against the forces of evil: they"will give battle, overthrowing and crushing" (TD 48), they "will thunder against sin, they will storm against the world, they will strike down the devil and his followers" (TD 57), they "will be the odor of death to the great, the rich and the proud of this world" (TD 56). In the PM, along the same lines, Montfort foresees missionaries who will attack and overthrow the "enemies of God" (PM 8, 29), who will "crush the head of the serpent" (PM 12), "address their ardent prayers to heaven, turning them into the weapons which will overcome or convert their enemies" (PM 25). The positive pole, which is described in more detail, consists of actions directed at the reform of the Church and its extension into the world: their "ministry will renew the face of the earth and reform your Church" (PM 17). With this objective, the apostles of the end times will carry out sanctifying apostolic work: they "will enkindle everywhere the fires of divine love" (TD 56); "wherever they preach, they will leave behind them nothing but the gold of love" (TD 58); they will be the "sweet fragrance of Jesus" (TD 56). They will "build the temple of the true Solomon and the mystical city of God" (TD 48), and they will "shower down the rain of God’s word and of eternal life" (TD 57). Moreover, they will work to extend the Lord’s empire "over the impious, the idolators and Muslims" (TD 49), receiving the deluge of fire that will empower them to convert "Muslims, idolators and even Jews"... (PM 17).

... His proposed congregation of missionary priests forms the core of these apostles. But the activity and the mighty battles of the end times must not be reserved to them alone. In two other prophetic texts, Montfort speaks more generally of "chosen souls" in whom Mary will reign sovereign (TD 217), and he enlarges the horizon to embrace "a mighty legion of brave and valiant soldiers of Jesus and Mary, both men and women"

Quoted from: End Times

NAB ACT 1:6

When they had gathered together they asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel He answered them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority. But you will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” When he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.

NAB2 REV 11:15

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet. There were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world now belongs to our Lord and to his Anointed, and he will reign forever and ever.” The twenty-four elders who sat on their thrones before God prostrated themselves and worshiped God and said: “We give thanks to you, Lord God almighty, who are and who were. For you have assumed your great power and have established your reign. The nations raged, but your wrath has come, and the time for the dead to be judged, and to recompense your servants, the prophets, and the holy ones and those who fear your name, the small and the great alike, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.

NAB JER 33:13

The days are coming—oracle of the LORD—when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. In those days, at that time, I will make a just shoot spring up for David; he shall do what is right and just in the land. In those days Judah shall be saved and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; this is the name they shall call her: “The LORD our justice.”

NAB2 ISA 52:7

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings glad tidings, Announcing peace, bearing good news, announcing salvation, and saying to Zion, “Your God is King!” Hark! Your watchmen raise a cry, together they shout for joy, For they see directly, before their eyes, the LORD restoring Zion. Break out together in song, O ruins of Jerusalem! For the LORD comforts his people, he redeems Jerusalem. The LORD has bared his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; All the ends of the earth will behold the salvation of our God.

The Devil currently has dominion in this world. But when Jesus returns he will renew the world and rule it forever, and Jesus will cast out Satan and the wicked to Hell where they will be forever. Jesus is also King of Heaven and King of the Universe. His reign is not limited to the earth.

So with the poll in the OP:

  • I didn't choose the first option because the wording seems to suggest a limited future earthly reign.
  • I didn't choose the second option because it limits Jesus's reign only to Heaven in the "hereafter."
  • I didn't choose the third option because the Devil currently has a temporary dominion in the world.

A one choice only poll doesn't really allow for the often biblical answer of now and not yet.

Jesus is King. His coronation was ascension. Christ means "annointed (king)".
But his rule is not yet fully realised. It will be fully realised on earth at the final resurrection.
In the meantime the way we live must anticipate that.

I'm not sure why you are raising this as a question of timing when it's more a question of place.

Jesus rules the world Right now.

This world is not under the power of the "price of darkness" for he is powerless. This world is under the power of Jesus Christ. Satan does NOT rule the earth today, Jesus Christ does. Satan has absolutely no power today to keep ANYONE from salvation.
His head has been crushed. He is a defeated foe.

Satan was bound/judged/cast out by Christ's ministry, reversing satan's dominion over the People of God, granting power over all darkness to the saints, and immediately enabling the gospel to spread to all nations.
(John 12:31 and Matt 12:28-29, Heb 2:14-15 and 1 John 3:8).

Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. ALL power and dominion are His. There is nothing that is not already under his rule.

Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ALL POWER is given unto me in heaven AND IN EARTH.

Revelation 1:5
...Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, AND THE PRINCE OF THE KINGS OF THE EARTH.

We, Christs Body, already rule and reign with Christ right now!!! It's a done deal. We are priests and Kings of a Kingdom that can never be conquered, ruling and reigning with our Lord for evermore.

It also says he is the prince of the air and Adam gave up dominion to him. Yes, he is defeated and we have power over him through the Word but until Jesus returnes he still has power. If you doubt thta then look at the world, do you really think that the shape it is in is Jesus?

If Jesus were ruling the world right now there wouldn't be things like murder and war which happen all the time in the world. We are alive because of Jesus, but God has allowed for Satan to have a temporary dominion in the world. That's why Satan could offer Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. (Mt 4:8-9) St. Paul calls Satan "the god of this world" (2 Cor 4:4). And Jesus calls the Devil "the ruler of this world." (Jn 14:30)

? And if not Christ then who will govern during the millenial

we are in the "millennial reign" right now :)

Christ is King and we are his subjects

Mark 1:15

In this world there are two kingdoms. There's the kingdom of the world, and there's the Kingdom of the Church. Jesus rules over the Church and the faithful Christians who recognize Him as our King. But He isn't currently reigning over the world as everyone's King. That won't happen until the Second Coming. Until then, Satan has dominion and influence in the world. See Job 1:6-12.

Hello Parousia and Rhamiel,

Right before Jesus' ascension into heaven, the Apostles want to know when His Kingdom will Come to earth, aka the restoration of Israel. Christ's Kingdom Come, the Restoration of Israel, is the Big, Big Promise from God, resonating through out the Old Testament, that God's Messiah Jesus is to bring about. With Jesus, a descendant of King David, Ruling the world, Israel is Restored and Zion is born.

The Big event of the Book of Revelation is Jesus taking over as King and Ruler of Israel and the world. So when do you say this great event described in Revelation happened in time? When did the seventh angel of Revelation blow his trumpet to crown Jesus as King and Ruler of the world?

Please visit: When the Seventh Trumpet Blows, God's Promise to Israel, God's Divine Plan, is Fulfilled!

NAB2 ISA 27:13

On that day, A great trumpet shall blow, and the lost in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt Shall come and worship the LORD on the holy mountain, in Jerusalem.

NAB3 MAT 24:29 The Coming of the Son of Man.

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a trumpet blast, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

NAB2 REV 11:15

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet. There were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world now belongs to our Lord and to his Anointed, and he will reign forever and ever.”

NAB2 ISA 18:2

Go, swift messengers, to a nation tall and bronzed, To a people dreaded near and far, a nation strong and conquering, whose land is washed by rivers. All you who inhabit the world, who dwell on earth, When the signal is raised on the mountain, look! When the trumpet blows, listen! For thus says the LORD to me: I will quietly look on from where I dwell, Like the glowing heat of sunshine, like a cloud of dew at harvest time. Before the vintage, when the flowering is ended, and the blooms are succeeded by ripening grapes, Then comes the cutting of branches with pruning hooks and the discarding of the lopped-off shoots. They shall all be left to the mountain birds of prey, and to the beasts in the land; The birds of prey shall summer on them and on them all the beasts of the earth shall winter. Then will gifts be brought to the LORD of hosts from a people tall and bronzed, from a people dreaded near and far, a nation strong and conquering, whose land is washed by rivers-to Mount Zion where dwells the name of the LORD of hosts.

NAB2 JOE 2:15

Blow the trumpet in Zion! proclaim a fast, call an assembly; Gather the people, notify the congregation; Assemble the elders, gather the children and the infants at the breast; Let the bridegroom quit his room, and the bride her chamber. Between the porch and the altar let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep, And say, “Spare, O LORD, your people, and make not your heritage a reproach, with the nations ruling over them! Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’”
Then the LORD was stirred to concern for his land and took pity on his people. The LORD answered and said to his people:

See, I will send you grain, and wine, and oil, and you shall be filled with them; No more will I make you a reproach among the nations. No, the northerner I will remove far from you, and drive him out into a land arid and waste, With his van toward the eastern sea, and his rear toward the western sea; And his foulness shall go up, and his stench shall go up. Fear not, O land! exult and rejoice! for the LORD has done great things. Fear not, beasts of the field! for the pastures of the plain are green; The tree bears its fruit, the fig tree and the vine give their yield.

And do you, O children of Zion, exult and rejoice in the LORD, your God! He has given you the teacher of justice: he has made the rain come down for you, the early and the late rain as before. The threshing floors shall be full of grain and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

And I will repay you for the years which the locust has eaten, The grasshopper, the devourer, and the cutter, my great army which I sent among you. You shall eat and be filled, and shall praise the name of the LORD, your God, Because he has dealt wondrously with you; my people shall nevermore be put to shame. And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel; I am the LORD, your God, and there is no other; my people shall nevermore be put to shame.

it is called Sodom for the multitude of sins
this verse is about the murder of the two witnesses
Revelation 11:8
And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city, which is called spiritually, Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord also was crucified.

I never denied that ultimately God has dominion over everything. But God allowed Satan to have a TEMPORARY dominion in the world. That's the only way that it makes sense that there's evil and suffering in the world. Read the book of Job, or read the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
"In the last petition, 'but deliver us from evil,' Christians pray to God with the Church to show forth the victory, already won by Christ, over the 'ruler of this world,' Satan, the angel personally opposed to God and to his plan of salvation." - CCC, 2864

"'A murderer from the beginning, . . . a liar and the father of lies,' Satan is 'the deceiver of the whole world.' Through him sin and death entered the world and by his definitive defeat all creation will be 'freed from the corruption of sin and death.' Now 'we know that anyone born of God does not sin, but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world is in the power of the evil one.'" - CCC, 2852

With the exception of our prayers to Jesus/God/The Holy Spirit and our Blessed Virgin Mary and at times (in Jesus/God's Holy Will) to Saints for their Holy intercession, with satan's events/plans averted by Jesus/God/The Holy Spirit and our Blessed Virgin Mary.

Therefore, the more prayers that our Holy Trinity and Mother Mary receive for:

. "Jesus' and the Blessed Virgin Mary's Holy intentions
. the expelling of satan out of the hearts, minds, bodies and souls of all people daily
. prayers for God's Love and Peace throughout each country
. Prayers for all people being persecuted throughout the world
. Prayers for the removal of satan out of groups and individuals representing satan and its evil thoughts and actions
. Prayers for all Children and Families in the world for their safety health and protection
. prayers for Jesus/God's Loving Holy Blessings Gifts and Graces for people living in poverty
. prayers for the conversion of all sinners in the world
. prayers for all of the Holy Souls in Purgatory
. prayers for the sick and dying to be taken into Jesus' Abyss of Divine Mercy daily
and many more of our prayers (recently I have been praying for the end to all animal cruelty)

Prayers for all of our causes prayed daily in particular with trust in our hearts to Jesus, blocks satan and his works disempowering satan and its evil legions demons and evil spirits roaming the world and with the prayers that Jesus gave us through Saint Gertrude and Saint Faustina, satans plans to torment souls passing over are blocked in Jesus/God's Holy Will:

"Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son our Lord Jesus Christ in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world". Jesus/God/The Holy Spirit are able to block satan claiming souls when dying if this prayer is prayed along with other prayers e.g. The Divine Mercy Chaplet and Holy Rosary to our Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God.

and;

"Eternal Father I offer You the Most Precious Blood of Your Divine Son Jesus in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, for those in my own home and within my own family, Amen".

All is possible by Jesus Christ our Saviour/God/The Holy Spirit and our Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God and if each Catholic prayed these prayers just once daily with even one Decade of The Holy Rosary to our Blessed Virgin Mary daily - so MANY causes answered around the world daily within Jesus/God/The Holy Spirits Holy Will.

I was urged months ago by Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary to urgently pray for an additional (4) Holy causes daily and twice daily while in the middle of other tasks with the term 'granted' after each done by Jesus Christ our Saviour. This occurs regularly - for everyone's prayers to Jesus/God/The Holy Spirit and to our Blessed Virgin Mary in God's Holy Will.

I have the utmost respect for all Catholics and Christians around the world and on CF (prayer ministries) praying for world causes - these prayers are heard and answered in Jesus/God's Holy Will! The world would be in a worse shocking state without Jesus/God's Holy Blessings, Gifts and Graces given/granted without these beautiful hearted giving selfless people praying daily, thrice daily and more, focussing on Jesus/God while giving greatly to others. The best things people can do for others is praying to Jesus and our Blessed Virgin Mary for them daily.

God The Most High can take away satan in His Holy Will at any time on any day in His Holy Will and for centuries has done this on billions of occasions, many of us oblivious to the fact.

I wish you all a happy new Year - keep up your daily prayers to Jesus/God and our Blessed Virgin Mary!

Love and kindest wishes your Sister in Jesus Christ our Saviour

Hello Rhamiel,

Do you agree that Jesus tells us, right before His ascension, that His Kingdom has not yet come? When do you say that the seventh angel blows his trumpet to enthrone Jesus as King and Ruler of the world? Jesus teaches us to pray to God the Father to deliver us from the evil one? Jesus tells us that He will deliver us from the Gentiles. Is it God, or the Gentiles (secular power) ruling the world presently? Are we delivered from Satan already, or not? Has Israel been restored already as God's big promise to Israel indicates they will be?

Please visit: Fallen Angel, Morning Star, Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon

NAB ACT 1:6

When they had gathered together they asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He answered them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority.

There were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world now belongs to our Lord and to his Anointed, and he will reign forever and ever.”

NAB MAT 6:9 The Lord's Prayer

"This is how you are to pray: 'Our Father in heaven hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven ...//...
Subject us not to trial but deliver us from the evil one.'

NAB3 LUK 21:24

They will fall by the edge of the sword and be taken as captives to all the Gentiles; and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled

NAB2 ACT 26:17

I shall deliver you from this people and from the Gentiles to whom I send you, to open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may obtain forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been consecrated by faith in me.’

Again, Satan was bound/judged/cast out by Christ's ministry, reversing satan's dominion over the People of God, granting power over all darkness to the saints, and immediately enabling the gospel to spread to all nations.

How about you take these verses I quoted and show us why they don't mean what I contend they mean?

Hello Parusia,

Do you agree that God was King over Israel from the Exodus till the fall of Israel in 587 B.C. to Babylon? Because of the great multitude of sins of Israel, God cast Israel out of His presence and placed king Nebuchadnezzer as king over Israel. Most of the scriptures taken to build our modern day image of Satan are taken from scriptures referring to evil secular rulers that God had handed Israel over to. Take Isaiah 14, quoted below; does not the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, look a lot like Satan?

In Daniel 2 we see prophesy of Jesus, the rock, smashing secular power from Nebuchadnezzer and his successors, and Jesus taking over as King and Ruler of the world. Zion grows out of Christ's strike against secular power and fills the whole world with fruit. There is peace on earth.

Has this strike by Jesus against secular power happened already. Is the world at peace without any Hitlers, Stalins or any ruthless dictators to persecute God's people? Is our every tear wiped away by Jesus? I say, secular power, described in scriptures as Satan, is still in full control of the world. I say Jesus has yet to come in His Power and Glory to Rule over Israel and the world. I say Christ's Rule starts when the seventh angel blows his trumpet upon victory at our future Apocalyptic Battle of Armageddon. When Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world, holiness and peace will flourish. Presently we have great sin apostasy and wickedness and persecution flourishing on earth. It will not be this way when Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world.

NAB3 DEU 33:1

This is the blessing which Moses, the man of God, pronounced upon the Israelites before he died. He said: "The LORD came from Sinai and dawned on his people from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran and advanced from Meribath-kadesh, While at his right hand a fire blazed forth and his wrath devastated the nations. But all his holy ones were in his hand; they followed at his feet and he bore them up on his pinions. A law he gave to us; he made the community of Jacob his domain, and he became king of his darling.

NAB JER 27:4

Tell your masters: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: It was I who made the earth, and man and beast on the face of the earth, by my great power, with my outstretched arm; and I can give them to whomever I think fit. Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, my servant; even the beasts of the field I have given him for his use.

NAB ISA 27:1

On that day, The LORD will punish with his sword that is cruel, great, and strong, Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the coiled serpent; and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea. On that day—The pleasant vineyard, sing about it! I, the LORD, am its keeper, I water it every moment; Lest anyone harm it, night and day I guard it. I am not angry, but if I were to find briers and thorns, In battle I should march against them; I should burn them all. Expunging and expelling, I should strive against them, carrying them off with my cruel wind in time of storm. In days to come Jacob shall take root, Israel shall sprout and blossom, covering all the world with fruit.

NAB ISA 14 The King of Babylon

When the LORD has pity on Jacob and again chooses Israel and settles them on their own soil, the aliens will join them and be counted with the house of Jacob. The house of Israel will take them and bring them along to its place, and possess them as male and female slaves on the Lord’s soil, making captives of its captors and ruling over its oppressors. On the day the LORD relieves you of sorrow and unrest and the hard service in which you have been enslaved, you will take up this taunt-song against the king of Babylon:
How the oppressor has reached his end! how the turmoil is stilled! The LORD has broken the rod of the wicked, the staff of the tyrants That struck the peoples in wrath relentless blows; That beat down the nations in anger, with oppression unchecked.

The whole earth rests peacefully, song breaks forth; The very cypresses rejoice over you, and the cedars of Lebanon: “Now that you are laid to rest, there will be none to cut us down.”

The nether world below is all astir preparing for your coming; It awakens the shades to greet you, all the leaders of the earth; It has the kings of all nations rise from their thrones. All of them speak out and say to you, “You too have become weak like us, you are the same as we. Down to the nether world your pomp is brought, the music of your harps. The couch beneath you is the maggot, your covering, the worm.”

How have you fallen from the heavens, O morning star, son of the dawn! How are you cut down to the ground, you who mowed down the nations! You said in your heart: “I will scale the heavens; Above the stars of God I will set up my throne; I will take my seat on the Mount of Assembly, in the recesses of the North. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will be like the Most High!” Yet down to the nether world you go to the recesses of the pit!

Is he to be smitten as his smiter was smitten? or slain as his slayer was slain? Or shall he cling to me for refuge? He must make peace with me; peace shall he make with me!

NAB DAN 2:31

“In your vision, O king, you saw a statue, very large and exceedingly bright, terrifying in appearance as it stood before you. The head of the statue was pure gold, its chest and arms were silver, its belly and thighs bronze, the legs iron, its feet partly iron and partly tile. While you looked at the statue, a stone which was hewn from a mountain without a hand being put to it, struck its iron and tile feet, breaking them in pieces. The iron, tile, bronze, silver, and gold all crumbled at once, fine as the chaff on the threshing floor in summer, and the wind blew them away without leaving a trace. But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

NAB LUK 20:17

'[COLOR="The stone which the builders rejected has become the keystone of the structure'? The man who falls on that stone will be smashed to pieces, It will make dust of anyone on whom it falls."

“This was the dream; the interpretation we shall also give in the king’s presence. You, O king, are the king of kings; to you the God of heaven has given dominion and strength, power and glory; men, wild beasts, and birds of the air, wherever they may dwell, he has handed over to you, making you ruler over them all; you are the head of gold. Another kingdom shall take your place, inferior to yours, then a third kingdom, of bronze, which shall rule over the whole earth. There shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron; it shall break in pieces and subdue all these others, just as iron breaks in pieces and crushes everything else. The feet and toes you saw, partly of potter’s tile and partly of iron, mean that it shall be a divided kingdom, but yet have some of the hardness of iron. As you saw the iron mixed with clay tile, and the toes partly iron and partly tile, the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. The iron mixed with clay tile means that they shall seal their alliances by intermarriage, but they shall not stay united, any more than iron mixes with clay. In the lifetime of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed or delivered up to another people; rather, it shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and put an end to them, and it shall stand forever. That is the meaning of the stone you saw hewn from the mountain without a hand being put to it, which broke in pieces the tile, iron, bronze, silver, and gold. The great God has revealed to the king what shall be in the future; this is exactly what you dreamed, and its meaning is sure.”

NAB2 REV 11:15

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet. There were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world now belongs to our Lord and to his Anointed, and he will reign forever and ever.”
