I recommend a brief look at the teachings of Rabbi Avraham Feld, and the work of Orthodox Scholar Yair Davidy, to see the Jewish perspective on this subject.

One researcher of Japanese descent named Arimasa Kubo, speaks of a particular group of Japanese people of the Shinto tradition, that not only share in their rituals and history many similarities with the ancient Hebrews, but recent DNA studies have revealed a peculiarity in their Y-Chromosomes that is shared with neither the Chinese or the Koreans, but rather it is shared with the ancient Hebrew people! In Japan, the “Suwa-Taisha“ Shinto Shrine sits in front of a “Mount Moriya“ (Mt. Moriah?), and these people, who’s ancient ancestors allegedly came from the far west, perform a ritual sacrifice (now done in mock style but for over 70 generations a real boy and real animals were employed) where a father scales Mt. Moriya with his son (his only son), as led to do by the god of Moriya. The father then binds him to a large sacrificial wooden stake, and intends to sacrifice him in obedience to the god of Mt. Moriya, then a messenger from this god suddenly appears (in the form of a second priest) and tells the father figure, that because he has offered such a sacrifice, the son is to be spared, and that the god of Moriya would provide the sacrifice, and at that point 75 Deer are sacrificed.

Let it be noted that there were no Rams in that country, but also note that Deer are in fact Kosher. But why 75 Deer and not just one? Well it is conjectured by some that the number is borrowed from the ancient "Israelite" Passover sacrifice of Mt. Gerizim as performed by the Ephraimites in Samaria! When the House of Israel was located in that place, even up to modern times, they would offer exactly 75 sheep. They claimed it was a most ancient tradition. This one profound corresponding example does not even touch upon the amazing work that has been done in this area in recent decades.

Likewise, there are some people of Kashmir, in Northern India, that have among them a people who pass on an oral tradition that claims that originally their ancestors came from the very area that we now call Samaria/Israel. Some of their local land names are very similar to Hebrew names, and they also practice a yearly feast in the spring that is remarkably similar to the Passover where they eat nothing leavened for a whole week.

Then there is the Lemba tribe of South Africa. The Lemba people always claimed to be Israelites, but no one ever believed them because they are very dark skinned. It wasn’t until very recently that some scientists, ready to absolve the controversy once and for all, went there to do DNA studies, and lo’and behold it turns out that in fact, they are of a mixed Hebrew heritage. They are of a Levitical stock that had originally settled in Yemen tens of centuries ago, and then eventually migrated there. They intermarried and eventually became acculturated but orally kept many of the legends.

The Yasufzai of Afghanistan also have some Israelite customs as well, and their name actually means, “the children of Joseph“! Their oral history likewise goes back thousands of years when they allegedly were led to and settled in this area. I suspect during the Assyrian captivity.

Then there are the Knanites, who allegedly speak and write a variation of ancient Aramaic, and their name means “the people of Canaan“, and then there are also the Chiang-Min and Kaifeng of China, and the tribe of Manashe who reside in Burma to this day (Manasseh?).

Well no doubt all of this is quite curious in light of this subject, but I believe many of the still lost of the House of Israel can be found among (and blended into) Europeans as well as others, having names such a Lewis and Meyers and more. But know this beloved, the Shofar is blowing…many, many, of the melo’ ha’goyim (Genesis 49) are finding the fulfillment of their ancient faith in Messiah Yeshua this very day.

In His love

Paul

There's bound to be many Spanish and Portuguese (and by extension Hispanics) who are descended from, and may realize they are descended from, Jews.

Do you think people converting to Judaism is a good thing? After all, they have rejected Jesus as the messiah. Just curious why you would post these videos here.

1.
It's a step up from atheism (secular humanist uncommitted catholicism is usually the religion of these people before conversion)

2.
Torah is the will of Yeshua. If you get to Torah from Sinai or from Nazareth, no difference.

So what should they be called?

If they be descendants of Israel, they should be refered to as 'Israeli' or the biblically correct 'Ephraim', notwithstanding, those who are not found on the path moving in the appropriate direction are still Lost, and both the Edomites and Chaldeans share the same Assyrian bloodline so DNA is a joke though I have a difficult time laughing at the credence it is given:

"If they be descendants of Israel, they should be refered to as 'Israeli' or the biblically correct 'Ephraim', notwithstanding, those who are not found on the path moving in the appropriate direction are still Lost"

Look, they are "lost" in the sense that they are scattered from the land of their inheritance and typically do not recognize who they are and hence don't know that they are descendants of Ephraim, Manasseh, Gad, Zebulun etc.
Some - surprisingly many actually - groups in the world claim from olden times descendant from these scattered tribes but are not typically able to prove it beyond doubt.

My intent in rhetorically asking "what should they be called" is to look beyond the semanticism and wordplay that dominates on this forum, and call attention back toward the topic itself and its merits or import or potential import.

OK based on what evidence ?
Or does the idea simply seem aesthetical to you ?

Based on prophecy.
Ezekiel 36:19
And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

Amos 9:9
For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

Let us also consider these scriptures.

And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the Lord, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;
22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.
23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.

Hosea 2:21-23 KJV

and Deut. 28:62-64 KJV says this:

And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the Lord thy God.
63 And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
64 And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
