I would add "I, Frankenstein". In the movie, they prayed the St. Micheal prayer and talked about God freely.

I just ordered "Entertaining Angels." I've been interested in learning more about Dorothy Day.
I thought both the book and DVD choices were interesting, and I think they would make interesting reading or viewing for all Catholics.

I love the way Tree of Life begins with a paraphrase from Thomas a Kempis, and this sets up the theme of the movie in a very beautiful scene.

So happy to see that she listed Ostrov (the Island). I really enjoyed that movie. It encapsulates the Eastern concept of being a "fool for Christ" and finding devotion in the little things of life.
