The theory states that they will never become anything other than human even if they don't look anything like humans do now. Just like humans will always be apes because they descended from apes....and they will always be vertebrate fish because they descended from vertebrate fish.

Just a thought, maybe some people have evolved from something else because in the bible, there were the nephilims, half breeds, and they didn't look nice. And am thinking that as generations go by and as the hydrids mated with humans as time go by, their genes had become more saturated with the humans, so their descendants are looking more like humans now. That is, we can't tell the difference.

The bible indicates how God destroyed the hybrids in genesis 6. It seems that God hated the interbreeding of species and wanted them destroyed. So if God loves me and He did save me and as I am now His child, then that makes me think that I did not come from the hybrid lines (or you know, like a monkey's line).

It looks like in the story of Noah and his family, maybe they were the only ones with untainted (right) human genes in their time living amongst all those hybrids (who at that time look and acted like hybrids), maybe that was why among the people only Noah and his family were the only ones saved from the flood. This seems to make more sense.

Sorry, but I cannot comment on how an unsubstantiated story could possibly relate to the descent of humans from an ape ancestor of humans and chimpanzees.

Thats okay, you do not have to comment on this. I think it has similarities with the theory of evolution. If it is unequivocally substantiated as an actual fact, everybody would believe it. For example, the fact that the sun rises every morning, everybody believes it because it does.

In a way, in other things everyone makes guesses... Educated or uneducated, its still a guess.

Everybody believes it because they can see it. Unfortunately, there are quite a few people who would rather ignore evidence to protect their deeply held religious beliefs instead of investigating the evidence for the theory of evolution. It's there for anyone to see, the problem is, sometimes people just don't want to see it.

1. A eukaryote giving birth to a eukaryote
2. An animal giving birth to an animal
3. A vertebrate giving birth to a vertebrate
4. A tetrapod given birth to a tetrapod
5. A mammal giving birth to a mammal
6. A primate giving birth to a primate
7. An ape giving birth to an ape
8. A human giving birth to a human.

You cannot escape your heredity. All of your descendants will be humans.

It is a gradual process, like blue turning into violet. If you go back in time hundreds of millions of years, your ancestors would look very different from you, but they would still be apes. Go back further, and they would still be primates, but not apes. Go back further and they would be mammals, but not primates.

It makes perfect sense if you know what "descended" and "heirarchy" mean. What part doesn't make sense to you?

The Theory of Evoution is an explanation of the known facts and found evidence that shows common descent through modification and natural selection.

A scientific theory is an explanation of the known facts, explaining how something works, like gravity, germs, or evolution.

Nowhere in the theory is it shown that a dog will come from a cat or that a human will come from a fish. Those ideas are actually the opposite of common descent and would contradict what we know about evoution.

Dogs came from wolf ancestors...they are still wolves. Humans came from ape ancestors...they are still apes. Something that is descended from humans is still a human.

Look at it this way: My father's last name is Smith, and my mother's last name is Jones. I am a Smith and I am a Jones. My father's grandfather was named Koenemin. I am a Koenemin. You are what you are descended from.
