Bible reading poll

AHHH! Matt I already messed up your poll! I thought it said what was the last books you read in the bible...not the least!

I have no idea.....there are some in the Old Testament that I've only read once.

Mostly the chronicles so and so begot so and so who begot so and so, who also had other sons, who begot so and so

I know that every part of the Bible is important, just for the fact that it's God's word - but that doesn't make some parts of it seem any less tedious

leviticus and numbers i just can t get interested in them

There's the part in Exodus that I skipped.... the describing of the Ark of the Covenant and describing of the (something else).

It was a close call between Numbers and Chronicles for me. The counting and counting and counting makes me soooooo dizzy.

sorry...i voted the Gospels, Acts and Romans...probably the most read books in the bible...LOL...I would have voted...Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy...I would have voted the Chronicles but I like 1 & 2 Kings...

leviticus and numbers, the parts concerning the priests and sacrifices.I know I need to know and understand that part, but I have to make myself study it.

gotta be a tie between numbers and hosea, joel, amos... I read numbers once, and yeah, that was... numbers. The others I havent read at all. I know I should read all the Bible, but when it's numbers or long lists of stuff I get frusterated and go back to the stories and letters because they're easier to read and I feel like I can learn something easier. I'm sure there's stuff to be learned from the other books, but it would require long study, first to just understand what it's saying, then to understand the implications, then how it can be applied... maybe I'm just lazy, but I want something that I can at least get a basic understanding of when I first read it. I know everything that's in the Bible is in there for a reason, but some of it I just cant figure out.

gosh my least read ones are 1 and 2 kings and 1 and 2 chronicles

Some of the Phophets are a hard reader due to the eloquent language they use. Usually you can't just skim through them, you have to read them.

i haven't read the entire bible yet but so far it's genesis.

    I recently brought the whole bible on cd niv dramatize version, for the soul purpose to listen to the ot bks. and it really helps me to get into bks I would not normally read. and the cd,s make it easier, plus I think they all are important. and I have gotton a lot more done than I would if i had to read, and plus I am learning pretty well also.
