When it results in deadlock so we can't move on the even most basic issues, and causes us to ignore common ground and even basic steps that could lead to a solution. Yes, it is a problem.

Having principles doesn't mean my way or nothing gets done.

I'm quite curious to hear reasoning from those who voted " Liberals (including academics/intellectuals)". I would have thought that did more good than harm to society.

None of the above, I'd rate economic ineptitude as the thing most likely to destroy the way of life.

Sooner or later the debts have to be paid, sooner or later the books have to balance, or else the dollar ends up not worth the paper it's printed on.
