Rapture/ tribulation, when?

I do. I have had a few dreams about living during the end times that were more realistic than I'd have cared for. Dreams don't necessarily mean I will, but God does use dreams and visions to speak to us. Looking at the current trend of the global society, Christians everywhere are being persecuted more and more for their faith. Here in the USA we are being gradually marginalized and labelled as enemies of society, in that our beliefs and ideals "prohibit" forward progress of more mainstream ideas, i.e. homosexual relations, abortion, etc.

Then there is the whole, 6 days in creation thing. Even some of the earliest church fathers looked at the creation timeline and the words of Peter that a day is as 1,000 years to the Lord and took that literally to mean that as it took God 6 days to create the heavens and the earth then one day to rest, that it will take God 6,000 years (6 days=6,000 years) to complete man's redemption then that 7th day of rest would be the millenial reign of Christ. I don't know how strongly I agree with that, but it does have some merit I think. Definitely interesting.

But yes, I do feel the "tribulation" will happen rather soon. Now, do I think it is a literal 7 years, I don't know. I do think though the period may well start without anyone taking notice for a good bit. Only whenever the Anti-Christ is revealed will we then know we are in the midst of the fire.

Let me just add to this. I find the Islamic religion to be increasingly the vehicle the Anti-Christ comes to power on. I do not believe the endtimes will be a merger of Christians and Islam, but rather the harlot of Babylon would be Catholicism and an Islamic entity the beast that destroys her. Out of that Islamic entity would rise the Anti-Christ.

He will succeed where his ancestors did not. He will rob the countries he defeats and will give those things to his followers. He will plan to defeat and destroy strong cities, but he will be successful for only a short time.

I think the man this refers to is the King of the North, but I can't be sure.

I can be sure this is the King of the North.

Daniel 11:28-29

The king of the North will go back to his own country with much wealth. Then he will decide to go against the holy agreement. He will take action and then return to his own country.

“At the right time the king of the North will attack the king of the South again, but this time he will not be successful as he was before.
He will be good to those who have stopped obeying the holy agreement.

To obey God you have to believe in the Son of God. Makes me think the Jews are starting to believe in Jesus.

Daniel 11:32

The king of the North will tell lies and cause those who have not obeyed God to be ruined. But those who know God and obey him will be strong and fight back.

Daniel 11:34-35

When the wise ones are suffering, they will get a little help, but many who join the wise ones will not help them in their time of need. Some of the wise ones will be killed. But the hard times must come so they can be made stronger and purer and without faults until the time of the end comes. Then, at the right time, the end will come.

You can't be wise without Jesus ...

Hard to believe that they fight these wars all by themselves and on top of that they must have accepted Jesus or they would all be slaughtered.

Look at this promise that God is in charge ... makes you shiver all over, uh?

They will sit at the same table and lie to each other, but it will not do either one any good, because God has set a time for their end to come.

as for the question of when ... can't answer that question, but I am mid tribulations with a slight lean towards end times tribulation.

We will be tested ... we have to overcome something. I would think it has something to with fear of no food, no water, no medicine, no shelter.

May 2018 will be a test of the numbers game the old testament gives us of God punishing Israel in the past.

I'm already seeing a lot of it taking place, but if you mean in its completion up until the time of the rapture? No idea. All I'm asking from God concerning the length of my life is to be around long enough to where my family no longer needs me to provide for them, materially or otherwise.

Paul states that we are in the dispensation of the end time, he also states that the message had been preached in all the known world. Grace, end time and the time of the Gentiles are all one and the same with a fulfillment that can happen at any time.

Dan 9:2
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. KJV

I feel by some dreams and visions Ive had that I will live to see Jesus return.
