Of course he's moderate. On one hand the extreme left; on the other the extreme right. In the middle, where most people live, is the TEA party.

If you were being satirical, I'd be laughing pretty hard. But you're being serious, so it makes me sad if you think that's even remotely true.

I am not sure the era of Obama anything is over, but the above is well said. The Republicans should enact legislation and move it forward. Otherwise they become just another part of the problem.

Legislation "that has public and some bi partisan support."

Let's not leave that part out, or else we're just going to see the Right make the same old mistakes and suffer the same failures.

Let's see if Republicans take ANY strong action against illegal immigration, mass legal immigration, abortion, homosexual "marriage", the decline of the family unit, fight for a traditional society, etc.

I highly doubt they will.

I sure hope not. It is time for the Republicans to acknowledge that social issues should take second place to financial issues. They have made claims to being the fiscally responsible party. It is time for them to take that part seriously.

Shackles on a black man? Stay class Dinesh...

Quite frankly I don't think Dinesh cares what color Obama's skin is...

To be quite blunt a lot of Politicians from Illinois, particularly Chicago, need to have shackles slapped on them.

Former Governor Blagovich is a perfect example of just how corrupt Democrat Politicians in Illinois are.

I feel confident that Dinesh doesn't care at all what Obama's skin color is.

Like for selling Obama's Senate seat.

Are you sure you don't want to go with the 2006 Wired article about the NSA surveillance installation built in 2003? I know it's from the Bush era and kinda puts a damper on your fantasy that the Republicans care very much about your privacy, but it's a bit more honest than pretending that this didn't happen until Obama was elected.

Sorry, but that's a blogosphere smoke-screen. One, the so-called "spy gear" was nothing more than a computer algorithm designed to pick up on key words and phrases both in emails and cellphone calls originating outside the U.S. and, under Bush, did not involve U.S. citizens -- a fact you, your article and all the shrill whiners regarding the original Patriot Act forever fail to mention.

Your hair-raising article utterly fails to make a connection to "spyware!" and "research!" and a handful of other buzzwords they use, to any actual violation of privacy rights prior to 2009. Those violations didn't happen until Obama came into office. That was the year the NSA turned its ears and eyes inward, spying on U.S. citizens. You can deny that all you want, it won't make it any less true.

Cruz: 'The era of Obama lawlessness is over' | TheHill
He called for tax and regulatory reform, an end to "amnesty" for illegal immigrants and protection for religious liberty and gun rights.

The senator emphatically called for Republicans to "do everything humanly possible to repeal ObamaCare."

Do you get paid by the number of anti Obama/liberal/progresive/democratic threads you open?

Just wondering.
