Folks, if you thought the Kardashians, the Real Housewives and the Palins were something, then hang on to your hats. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, every southerners cultural nightmare has been cancelled. But the real shocker is not decreasing ratings, but Mamma June's relationship with the sex offender who allegedly molested her older daughter. Anna confirmed to Radar that she was the 8-year-old victim of pedophile Mark McDaniel, 53, in 2002 and 2003.
Anna, now married and the mother of a 2-year-old girl, believes that her mother betrayed her by dating him again behind everyone’s back.
Her oldest daughter said, “I believe she is seeing him and hanging around him. I’m hurt.”

sad thing is my wife watches Kardashians, the Real Housewives and yet when asking to spend quality time I get GO AWAY GO PLAY YOUR VIDEO GAMES. Later complains I play games all the time and spend no time with her :doh:

seriously these tv shows are making her stupid!

Looking it up -- he already served ten years. Is there a parole officer, or Social Services check-ups on the victim(s)? On the family? It seems other sex offenders face more accountability...as well as families that have faced abuse.

I read, since he did his full time, he doesn't have a parole officer. I guess Honey boo boo's mom and child molester laughed it off, but company filming didn't. The canceled the whole show.

That's a typical women. When she needs you, she'll call you , you better be there . When she doesn't you keep quite and out of her way.

I was so happy when I heard this was cancelled. Obviously it's sad about the situation, but this horrible show can finally be taken off air! Hopefully MTV as a network can close down next.

The ratings are way to high to take MTV off the air. At least with the Honey Boo Boo show on. Maybe these kids had a chance to meet interesting people and learn some manners, how to act normal.

I like Faceoff - the people on the show are extremely talented. I also appreciate the camaraderie among the contestants. Perhaps the genre encourages them to work with each other than against but it's gratifying to see talent rather than bad behavior rewarded.

My husband is a "The Voice" fanatic. A lot of gifted, mostly young people. There's no nastiness on this show either.

I'm not familiar with either. But then I only get over the air broadcast TV.
