The grace of God often comes to a person in the midst of paradox and mystery. This is perhaps the truth that many missed when they read part of my story of return to the Church. In short, I was an atheist, fallen-away Catholic involved in serious sin who stumbled into Mass one day and received the Eucharist.

Sr Theresa is taking a lot of criticism for sharing this story.

I wrote to her to tell her that I experienced something similar when I was younger. I was in mortal sin, but went to mass every week and received the Eucharist in ignorance. I don't know how I didn't realise that what I was doing was wrong, but once I did, I corrected my behaviour and confessed. Still, God somehow gave me grace through all those seemingly sacrilegious Sundays. The process was gradual, but it was still real.

I recall being at mass one Sunday and seeing a young lady walking quickly away from communion. It was obvious she was carrying something. Our priest stopped giving out communion and chased after her but he could not catch up with her.
I would guess that she wanted it for some sort of satanic ritual. But why do these people bother with the Eucharist unless they believed there is something to it?

I don't think they believe. I think they just like to make us upset.

Anyways, this is not related to the OP :D

Yes

This is the most reasonable, common reason for people leaving church right after communion.
