Hey!

On October 31st at 11 PM EST I will give 1 million blessings each to the last 20 people that have posted in this thread. Not the last 20 posts, but the last 20 posters. (not including me btw)

Subscribe now! Feel free to use this thread for whatever you want (within the rules). Count, chat, share jokes, etc.

Oh, and if the thread splits by then I will give 2 million blessings each, but I don't think that's likely to happen given the time frame. You can hope, though!

Happy Halloween! This thread is my way of giving "forum candy" to trick or treaters :) enjoy.

Hi.....the church i used to attend used to have Harvest Celebration festivities. There was dressing up, all kinds of goodies, and contests, etc. It was the same as Halloween, but just a different title for it....i went as a French Pierrot once:

Neat thread and idea, Grace.

I won't be dressing up, I may be myself. LOL. No, seriously, Halloween or any holiday for that matter, are not big deals here, it is sad, takes the fun out of life.

I probably won't be dressing up. They don't sell many costumes in my size. But I may paint my nails Halloween colors :)

I like to "reverse trick-or-treat" on Halloween, I bring other people brownies or cookies that I baked. It's the idea of bringing them things instead of asking for candy... my family has done it for a few years and I love the tradition, I'll do it here.

Thanks, guys :) we stumbled on it by accident, there was one Halloween where we were visiting relatives and couldn't trick or treat, so Mom bought my siblings and I candy to eat and then we made cookies to bring to some relatives... well, the idea stuck and last year we brought things to our neighbors, teachers, some local shut-ins, etc.

It's a nice tradition because you can do it anywhere and you never get too old :)

Oh, another thing:

My friends in the math department and I were discussing dressing up as fractions and complicated equations for Halloween... so that we can scare people :D

I don't know if we'll do it, but it does sound fun. I can be a scary quadratic equation for Halloween!!! lol.
