This has nothing to do with anything. Guess what? We don't have institutionalized slavery in the US. Nobody alive has experienced this. Being a descendant of slaves or not doesn't matter these days and it doesn't excuse people breaking the law whoever they are (cops or civilians).
You could have been a slave. How would you have liked that?
My ancestors were predominantly Irish...and a great many were enslaved. If you doubt it, Google "Irish enslavement" or if you're too lazy I'll post some links for you.
Should I be asking for reparations?
It is astonishingly concerning the FPD has released zero information to the public, and also admitting to the fact a weapon discharge report was never even filed by officer Wilson regarding the Michael Brown case.
If you can prove you are a direct descendant of a slave in America, yes.
What information were you looking for? It's my understanding the officer's side of those story has been presented...as well as forensics involving the shooting. What exactly were you looking for?
Lol how many blacks do you think could do that?
It's a silly idea...no one has enslaved me, I'm not asking for anything.
How would you even pay that out? If one slave has 40 descendants living in the U S do they all split his payout? Do they all get a sum equal to the worth of his work?
Yes- and should people whose families weren't even around in the US during slavery have to pay reparations to anyone?

For one, a weapon discharge report to officially document what happened. Not a "story".
I know many that can, however I imagine it might be challenging for many.
But if your descendants were enslaved, you might not have the same advantageous life you have today.
I imagine an income tax cut would be appropriate.
There is plenty of racism in the USA; while not systemic, white male privilege still does exist.

And if they don't pay any income tax?
Sorry, but I grew up in a very poor city that was predominantly black...and when I think back, i sure don't remember it being all that advantageous being white. To be honest, I experienced a lot of racism just for being white. I could tell you some stories about it, but I'd much rather hear about all the advantages you think I've had for being white.
Please, I could use a laugh.

as long as there are people like you who throw the phrase around like parade candy we can pretend it exists.
GRAND JURY. I don't expect any reports to be coming out short of a ruling from them.
We're white. We can't possibly be victims of discrimination. That's just ludicrous. We had things handed to us on a silver platter and oh, the racism *I* experienced in Detroit was probably my own fault, ya know, for being white. And then I made it worse because I LEFT THE CITY!
Yeah, I could use a good laugh too.

Have you tried looking? I found one after about 2 mins.
White privilege and male privilege certainly exists. Many whites (especially white males) cannot see their privilege and of those that can many of them don't like acknowledging their privilege.as long as there are people like you who throw the phrase around like parade candy we can pretend it exists.
