I've lost over 20 pounds in the past couple months doing the Paleo diet. All the fruits and vegetables you can eat plus fish and chicken. I cheat on it from time to time too.

Does that include chicken byproducts, such as liver? Curious.

I have lost nearly 20 pounds in the last couple of months from eating a well rounded diet.
5 veggies
3 fruits
2 dairy
2-3 meat (fish twice a week, skinless chicken twice a week, lean beef or legumes the rest of the week)
up to 5 whole grains

Low sugar, low sodium, nut free, banana free, and avoid vinegar and yeast.

Along with walking and a weight lifting program, I am doing quite well for my age.

I have, but I do have a recipe for wheat-free pizza...made with a crust of cauliflower/Parmesan cheese/eggs.

I made lasagna the other night. Instead of noodles, I used sliced turkey breast (it was easier, and very good!).

ETA--I found the video:

The Healthiest Pizza in the World - YouTube

We have made gluten free, dairy free, soy free, tomato free, egg free pizza for years. Granddaughter with allergies to all of those.

Wow.....that's really a challenge (and you *met* that challenge).

I actually did end up elevating my heart rate today. I had bought a cheap bouncy ball, the kind they sell in a big cage at the discount store, for the purpose of tossing it around, bouncing off the walls, maybe something easy I can do to move my body even though I don't have good strength or balance. My challenge is that my heart is strong, so the little I am able to move my body doesn't usually get my pulse going. If I work hard enough to do that, I end up injuring myself.

But a bouncing rubber ball plus a kitten chasing after it equals a lot of laughing. Laughing expends more cardiovascular energy, and so I was actually able to bring the rate up. Not bad for a couple of bucks worth of expense.

I think this is one of those uncomfortable things someone should talk to their spouse about. I know personally, I'm not super attracted to women who are skin and bones, but a lot of guys are. A little fat doesn't bother me, If I married a woman and she put on a few pounds and she wasn't fat to begin with I might find her even more cute :p. Though if your overweight to an unhealthy amount (which most Americans are) then you should probably hit the gym.

Then again, I can kinda be a romantic, so you could probably disregard all of that ;p
