There's this lady here in town who has a really poor reputation. Everyone I've talked to says she's a harlot and comes from parents who are either dead or in prison, outcasts basically. Someone recently told me she's been married and divorced a bunch of times and is currently shacking up with some guy and he won't even be seen with her in public. No one wants anything to do with her, especially other women. I have been told she is very odd at parent teacher meetings to the point that she waits till everyone leaves to visit with the teacher on her own. Everyone wishes she would just go away, fall off the face of the earth.

Someone said yesterday that now she is going around telling people she has had an "encounter with God" and she is being very dramatic about it and some people are actually believing her.

and.... sounds like a wonderful thing to me... have you asked her if she'd like to go to church with you?

It would be an excellent opportunity to take her a few books or help her find her way to a good church. She may be ripe pickings for satan... the when I got saved the LDS were at my door in days. I thought God sent them...

Therein is my miracle and what I constantly need to trust God for, the ability to love people, the arrogant, the criminal, the leeches and parasites, the addicted and thieves and democrats... But it does seem that the neighbours this lady has, calling her a 'harlot', and treating her as an 'outcast'. I think they need an encounter with God as much as she did.

Remember that the Lord Jesus spoke to the woman at the well who had 'many husbands', but superficially respectable folks like the king of Galilee he would not say a word to.

I sometimes just don't see the Lord being able to spend time with middle-class, conservative with a small 'c' and respectable folks. When we think we've arrived then we're in the greatest danger.

I almost weep when I think of the sheer compassion of the Lord for erring Israel when he asked Hosea to marry a prostitute so that He could teach Hosea patience.

Was the op just an odd piece of gossip or actual fact? Thats first.
Just because people say stuff dont make it so.
Then does the poster think it strange that she could have an encounter, and be excited about it?
What church does she attend in your town? lots of doubts thrown out with very little to go on but hearsay. Strange indeed.

This woman has obviously repented her sins from her heart or has opened up her heart to Jesus God and The Holy Spirit and on her way to becoming closer with Jesus. Now is the time to deliver some Prayers for Her and Her Children. If you care to PM her first Name, I am happy to include this woman's Name in Jesus' Divine Mercy Chaplet prayer and Holy Rosary to Jesus and The Blessed Virgin Mary.

I can see that you have posted from your heart out of genuine concern however we also should be praying for all people throughout the world of whom blaspheme God's Holy Name in vain, for people throughout the world of whom lustfully in their thoughts (hidden from others yet not from Jesus God and The Holy Spirit) look and leer at young girls (some Children as young as 11 and 12 years of age) walking along a street; many of whom are Christian married men with wives sitting up alongside them! Without judgement, for Jesus and God The Most High are our Just Judges. Yet, as an observation, a sin as Jesus taught and just as guilty for the need of genuine remorse in their hearts to repent to Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Because...we are all guilty of sins and many can be far worse than prostitution; lies deceit and fabrication included of which cause a great amount of hurt to others during our lives as are Non-mercy, a lack of compassion and non-forgiveness to others being hurtful, therefore I forgive you TUF, however, you owe us all an apology from your heart; Andrea included.

If we all re-examine and pray to Jesus calling to mind and heart all of our sins, I think we will all discover that there are sins sitting on our souls and in our hearts that require repentance of our Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour myself included, which is why I repent daily and weekly to Jesus from my heart in genuine remorse.

Me and Unforgettable are fine... I just expressed my feelings... no anger or forgiveness needed. I certainly would't have called her on it for sin....

To be honest, it was a great post of which brought out hearts to the woman and her situation through Jesus, given Jesus has obviously prompted you to post on this topic and we took action against the Sender/Messenger LOL!
