I agree with you but for a different reason. I do not and cannot follow men! Your Father is the Everlasting Day or the Ancient of (earthly) Days. "Time" is a non-occurance in eternity. There is just one never ending day. All earthly days are "the Lord's days"! But His Rest Day can only happen when all humanity are removed from spiritual Babylon and Egypt (this earth) and enter Heaven in the "absolute end" when this earth will be erased by fire. Then this will happen:

Isaiah 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, [that]
from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.

This is how much grace I have--

I have nothing but grace through faith in Christ Jesus.

I have no righteous act that is going to save me--no not one.

I rely solely on Jesus' righteousness to save me--oh and what joy that brings--joy unspeakable.

Anyone who wants to know this great joy of trusting in Jesus' righteousness rather than their own should read the book of Galatians over and over until it sinks into their souls just how much grace we all have in Our Lord Jesus. Then move on to Romans and read it over and over again.

LK 13:22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?"
He said to them, 24 "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door , because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, `Sir, open the door for us.'
"But he will answer, `I don't know you or where you come from.'

Grace through faith in Jesus is that narrow door! Don’t try to take any of your own righteousness through that door—it won’t fit!

LK 18:9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: 10 "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: `God, I thank you that I am not like other men--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'

LK 18:13 "But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, `God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'

LK 18:14 "I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Please accept Jesus' righteousness--please enter through the narrow door.

I think that some of the point of the sabbath is that, even if we don't want to, our earthly bodies and minds have to have time to rest (not just sleep)- if you don't believe that try coming to my school and working non-stop for all the time available, seven days a week.

As we see here Jesus was labeled a Sabbath breaker, not a Sabbath keeper!

It was the Pharisees take on the law, which claimed Jesus was a Sabbath breaker. Jesus knew God's true Rest Day was yet to come. You need to take that veil off your eyes! Why was Jesus born except to save the world and why did he die except to take away all sin? Every Christmas and Easter blind Christians do a lot of pontificating, but in practical reality, you do alot of "denying" that Jesus actually accomplished both things he was born to do and died to do. This makes you "anti -Christ" by rejecting and not believing in his SUCCESS! Feast on this:

Jesus is our Sabbath! Jesus is the real Sabbath you are to keep. You keep the Sabbath by accepting Jesus’ sacrifice and his righteousness and thereby entering into his Sabbath-rest. All religions except true Christianity have to work their way to heaven by their “good” deeds. It’s in our human nature to be self-righteous—to have bragging rights—to think we “earned it”. That is why Jesus is referred to as the “stumbling block”. It is hard to get past our self-righteous nature, to humble ourselves and to accept the free gift of salvation.


Heb 4:9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience. (NIV)


MT 18:2 He called a little child and had him stand among them. 3 And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

It’s hard to humble yourself and put your life in someone else’s hands but I promise you God will never disappoint you if you humble yourself, forget your own “righteous” deeds and accept Jesus’ sacrifice and his righteousness.

I must disagree with this. I read your links. Don't be mistaken....there is sin, and there is a judgement coming and there is an eternity to be spent away from God (damnation) if you don't accept the gift of Jesus Christ by faith. I don't necassarily want to start a debate here about it but there are too many new believers and non-believers here to let that go without a challenge.

I do not believe the teachings of man. Just the one true Bible: The King James Version. Some of the books that you get your information from are not in the King James Bible.

I do not know what or who you believe in but that is what you believe. It is not the truth of the Word of God.

God is going to punish sin. Do not be mistaken. You are saved or you are not saved and there is no in between.

Jesus said ye must be born again. One can not be a Christian and a spirtualist or whatever you are.
